Carrie Underwood to Wear Big Hair and Eyeliner to Wedding

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are already beginning to plan their upcoming wedding! The two are in the beginning stages of planning, but there are already some thing set in stone. Mike talked with Life & Style about what we expect from his and Carrie’s big day, and spilled the secrets with Popeater.

"It's going to be a good size wedding with plenty of good food and an open bar," Fisher told the mag. "But nothing too overblown. It's still in the planning stages, so a lot of the details haven't been finalized."

But Mike knows to step aside and let his bride-to-be do most of the work. "As you might expect, Carrie's involved in a lot of the details," he said, joking, "I'll just be showing up." Carrie talked with reporters on the People’s Choice red carpet earlier this month, saying, "I'm Southern. I like big hair and eyeliner. I want my wedding to be me, so I'll probably be rocking some big hair and eyeliner... I want [the dress] to be pretty traditional. I think I want flowers on it - not real flowers. [The designer will] probably be someone I've worked with before."

And Carrie’s stylist seems overwhelmed with thinking about a wedding dress, given all the other obligations his client has in the meantime! Trish Townsend told Life & Style, "We can't even think about her wedding yet. We just got through the Grammys. Next is the Super Bowl - she's singing the national anthem ... I'll be helping with the wedding. But ultimately, I'll probably hand things off to the designer she chooses."
