Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher have set a wedding date! But don’t expect her to say too much else about it. The singer appeared on Ellen yesterday the date is "not one that we're openly talking about.”
What we do know is that the nuptials will take place this summer, and that Carrie and Mike are “so laid back” about the planning. She told Ellen they’ve "food and we know where we're going to be -- the big hurdles. Everything else? We don't care.”
Carrie’s not really your typical bride who goes apeshit over the color of the linens on the table. In fact, she’s the opposite.
She said, "Everybody would always ask me questions like, 'What have you always dreamt of? This is your day?’ I never thought about it until I was engaged. I wasn't one of those little girls that always dreamed about getting married. So I have no idea what I'm doing, basically!"
One thing she and her fiancé are adamant about…not inviting randoms. "We're trying to keep it as small as possible," she said. "He has so many family members and all my friends are people that I work with and I love to death.”
We hope they’re saving some table spots for the paparazzi who will inevitably be there!
