Halle Berry is engaged, in case you didn't know. Her actor beau Olivier Martinez popped the question over the Holidays, but what you really need to take from this story is that the engagement ring is green. It's a diamond-and-emerald ring designed by Jeweler Gurhan, but really, it's a mood ring.

Halle Berry isn't the first celeb to get a colorful engagement ring. Call it tacky or call it festive, these are the celebs who thought it was a good idea to put a colorful sparkler on their ring finger.

Jessica Simpson: Jessica Simpson, who is most definitely the most classy lady in Hollywood ("Is this tuna or chicken?!") has a red engagement ring. The Neil Lane designed ruby red ring is flanked by two diamonds and is estimated to cost around $100,000.

People say marriage is a lot of work. Which makes you wonder, what’s the point? Then you have couples like Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher come along, who remind the world that married life can actually be fun.

“Everyone says the first month is the hardest, or the fourth month or the eighth month," Underwood joked about her new NHL husband. “We’re just enjoying it.”

And Hollyscoop talked to Carrie about pregnancy rumors. The country crooner assured us:

“No babies." She continued, "I would love to adopt someday. I’ve told Mike this. I would love for us to be able to have a couple of kids and them grow up a little bit and we all as a family decide that’s what is best for us. I would love to be able to adopt, not right now. I’m talking years if not decades from now.”

She’s been dodging pregnancy rumors, but that doesn’t mean Grammy winning singer Carrie Underwood isn’t planning to become a mom. And soon!

Carrie is reportedly planning to adopt after visiting a bunch of orphanages and children’s charities. Last year, Underwood explained that her and her NHL husband were not trying to have a baby because he was in Canada and she was living in Nashville. Unless he’s got telepathic sperm, those aren’t very good baby-making conditions.

But in February of this year, Mike Fisher was traded from the Ottawa Senators to the Nashville Predators and word is, the two are nesting. A friend of Underwood’s revealed:

“Doing humanitarian work really opened Carrie’s eyes to the number of orphaned children around the world who are just waiting for a loving home.”
Carrie Underwood has a serious problem at home: her husband is a pack rat. And you might think that's cute, but if you've ever seen an episode of Hoarders, it's actually pretty depressing.

Underwood told Ellen on The Ellen Degeneres Show, "He got traded to Nashville. He came and he brought all of his crap with him. Our house became…he’s not a hoarder but he’s close, maybe."

I hope this doesn’t mean Carrie is living with seventeen cats, thirteen of which died in 1991. Fortunately, it seems like it's mostly clothing-related.

“He’ll keep shirts and stuff and I’ll go through it. You online shop, you go shopping. He loves to shop.”

Since her days on American Idol, Underwood married hockey player Mike Fischer and stars in the new movie, Soul Surfer. Seems like things are going pretty well, aside from the hoarding thing.

I imagine Carrie trying to convince Mike to let go of his stuff, while he hugs a pile of shirts, crying, "you'll never take my babies away from me!"

Whatever you do, don't ask Carrie Underwood about having babies.

The newlywed has had to answer the baby question about 57,846 times since tying the knot in July and she's totally over it.

"Everybody, like, is on this baby bandwagon, I don't know what the deal is," Carried told Us Weekly at Monday's American Country Awards in Las Vegas. "But I would really like to figure out what it's like to be married first, and I know he would too."

So basically unless she had an accident, don't expect to see a growing baby bump anytime soon. "Sometimes I know God laughs at your plans, and says, 'Nope,'" said Carrie. "But it's definitely not in ours any time soon. So, no babies."

So we can all put the Carrie baby plans to rest for a few months. And while we're on the subject Hilary Duff isn't planning on becoming a mother anytime soon either.

Who do you predict will become a mother in 2011?

Carrie Underwood is as happy as can be as a newlywed, but she admits not much as changed since she said "I Do."

Speaking to Women's Health, Carrie says, Married life is "a lot like dating."

"Sometimes our schedules will click, sometimes they won't. But that's good because we're both independent."

But no matter how busy she is, she'll always find time to support her man. "I love going to games, cheering for my man," Underwood says. "When I come home, I'm accused of picking up the [Canadian] accent."

And if she does have spare time, don't expect her to hit the clubs like stars her age. "I'd sleep in a little, work out, do laundry, run errands, buy presents for people with birthdays coming up," she says. "I like it when I don't have to be anywhere, and anything to do is my choice."

Carrie and Mike Fisher just celebrated their two-month anniversary and Carrie still has a smile from ear to ear. We're glad to see her finally find love. For more on Carrie, pick up the new issue of Women's Health out on newsstand now.

Carrie Underwood is packing up and moving north! The newlywed and her husband Mike Fisher are reportedly building a house in Ottawa, Canada, where Fisher plays professional hockey for the Ottawa Senators.

A source tells Us Magazine, "They're building a new house in Ottawa. She wants to spend as much time there with him as possible.”

And apparently the move is going to happen quick, because the house is almost done! "Mike's great with interior design,” says the source. “The house should be finished in a month or so. They'll probably be in it by September."

And it sounds like the newlyweds are happy to call Ottawa home. "I love it here in Ottawa. She likes it, she knows how much I like it," Fisher told Canada's CTV recently. "Home is where we are, so let's make this home."

And as far as kids go, both Carrie and Mike are ready to start a family! "I know Mike loves kids," says the source. "They were joking at the wedding about how many kids they'll have. He wants more than she does!"

They’re so adorable together! We wish them lots of happiness!
