You won’t see it play out onscreen, but drama continues to surround Camille Grammer. The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star filed for a temporary restraining order against her boyfriend of two years, Dimitri Charalambopoulos, yesterday.
She claimed physical abuse against Dimitri in her declaration to the court for the protective order.
Her account paints a very violent picture. In it she alleges that while staying at a Houston, Texas hotel on October 16, she and Dimitri had an argument that escalated into a case of physical abuse.
Dimitri slammed her head against the bed’s headboard, pulled out fistfuls of her hair, and broke her iPhone, she alleged.
She continued that Dimitri strangled and attempted to suffocate her, asserting that he “squeezed my nose between his finger and pushed upward forcefully, covering my mouth in an attempt to silence me to prevent me from breathing.”
This was just days after Camille underwent a “radical hysterectomy” after learning she was still in the early stages of endometrial cancer and was recovering at the hotel.
Yesterday she tweeted about the incident, writing, “Getting my strength back now that I am at home and wasn’t able to deal with talking about it after my cancer surgery…Yes, it was horrible what had happened to me two days out of the hospital. I was in fear for my life.”
Dimitri must stay 100 yards away from her and her two children.
