Cameron Douglas

The judge in the case heard his apology in court and told him that this was his "last chance to make it."
Cameron admitted to dealing methamphetamine and cocaine. He was facing a 10-year term, but we're assuming the judge was pretty lenient by giving him 5 years.
Michael Douglas decided to step up as his father and wrote a letter to the judge asking for some leniency.
The letter read: "I love my son, but I'm not blind to his actions. I don't want to see him break. He is an adult and responsible for his own actions. We do know, however, that genes, family and peer pressure are a strong influence on a substance abuser.
"I have some idea of the pressure of finding your own identity with a famous father. I'm not sure I can comprehend it with two generations to deal with. Cameron grew up a single child in a bad marriage. Cameron found his family in the gang mentality.
"He's sober. I get to witness the wonderful young man he can be. He maintains his spirit, blames no one but himself and recognizes his criminal activity began with his heroin use."
Not only will Cameron serve 5-years, he was also ordered to pay $25,000 in fines and must serve 450 hours of community service.

Michael's son Cameron Douglas was recently arrested for possession of methamphetamines with the intent to distribute and Michael is said to be "devastated" over the arrest.
A statement released by the Michael and his former wife Diandra Luker said: "The family is devastated and very disappointed in Cameron's recent behavior. Any family who has dealt with substance abuse knows how devastating it can be."
Cameron is being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York after he violated the terms of his home detention by asking his girlfriend to smuggle him heroin hidden in an electric toothbrush. Idiots.
He was initially released on bail and was placed on house arrest in his apartment in Manhattan but after he was caught allegedly selling drugs at New York's Hotel Gansevoort last month, he was thrown back into the slammer.
In 2007, he was arrested in California for possession of a controlled substance when liquid cocaine was discovered in the car he was driving. If he's found guilty of supplying narcotics he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life. What kind of sentence do you think he deserves?

Cameron Douglas reportedly violated the terms of his probation after he asked his girlfriend Kelly Scott to bring him an electric toothbrush filled with heroin.
As Hollyscoop previously reported, Scott was arrested after the drugs were discovered. Scott has been charged with drug smuggling.
A judge ordered her to remain held without bail but did grant a request by her lawyer that she be allowed treatment for heroin addiction and hypertension.
Scott is claiming she had no idea what was stashed in the toothbrush, and is being held at the Metropolitan Correction Center. A preliminary hearing is set for September 10th in her case.
A lawyer for Sott could not be reached for comment and lawyers for Douglas have declined to comment.
Douglas faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison if convicted. What an embarrassment for Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones! We wonder if they had any idea what Cameron was up to all these years.

His girlfriend Kelly Scott was just arrested yesterday for allegedly attempting to pass him drugs via an electric toothbrush.
NBC reports that Cameron was in a conference room inside a federal courthouse 500 Pearl Street after his hearing regarding his drug charges. Law enforcement officials say Kelly hid bags of heroin inside the handle of an electric toothbrush.
Now the two of them are in custody, which means she’s probably been involved in Cameron’s undercover drug ring he’s been orchestrating between New York and LA.
One source at the courthouse said that Sott herself looked tired and worn. A spokeswoman for the US Attorney's office had no comment at this time.
What an idiot!!!
