Here are some interior photos of Cameron Diaz’s NYC high-rise apartment space in the West Village. The actress gave Elle Décor a little tour for its October issue and naturally, her New York City digs are a slice of California.
Enlisting the help of interior designer Kelly Wearstler, the 2,400-square-foot, prewar home is “a bit like living in a silk-lined jewelry box,” Cameron said. “I blame my love of sparkly, shiny things on my Cuban roots.”
As for the color scheme, it’s a total reflection of Cameron, said Kelly. “It’s innately sexy without being overly flashy,” she said. “Cameron has excellent taste and understands how colors work together and why quality pieces make rooms special.”
From the artwork to the textiles, Cameron wanted to keep herself grounded, no matter where she is. “I’m surrounded by things that mean something to me,” she said. “That’s what a home is.”
