Could Mariah Carey be pregnant? She has surprised us all a bit this year, with her quickie wedding to Nick Cannon! And the two seem to be very happy together, despite the fact that none of us thought it would last this long.

Mimi will appear on Ellen today and the conversation reportedly turns towards a possible bun in the oven!

Mariah appears on the show to promote her new single, I Stay In Love, but babies always trump singles, and Ellen knows it. Here’s what Ellen does on today’s show:

Ellen Degeneres says to Mariah Carey: “People are saying that you’re pregnant. There are rumors.” Then she breaks out champagne saying “You don’t have to answer that. Let’s just toast with champagne.”

Mariah Carey refuses the champagne, saying, “It’s just fattening… That’s not champagne. You can’t have it on TV…. It’s too early for me. I only drink after 3:00 pm.”

Then Mariah pretends to drink the champagne and Ellen says: “You’re pregnant.”

Mariah Carey admits to nothing though: “I didn’t say that. No, no, no. … We will let you know when we’re going to have a family.”

Word on the street is that Alanis Morissette is pregnant. She recently played a show to promote her new CD and everyone was buzzing about her weight gain.

She also refused a shot of tequila when she was offered one. Ok, this may be a little blown out of proportion! A lot of non-pregnant people refuse tequila shots, and Alanis did make a point to tell the crowd that she's been battling depression for the last two years.

Depression usually leads to weight gain, so we're thinking she's just battling the blues. Plus her hot ex-boyfriend just got engaged to the gorgeous Scarlett Johansson. That can't help the ego. We'll keep an eye on her maybe baby bump, but we're calling BS on this one.

Eva Longoria, who has been in the center of pregnancy rumors for months, is blaming her pal Victoria Beckham for her alleged baby bumps.

Eva says, "Victoria gave me a couple of pairs and I love them. They were so tight, my gut was hanging over the top before dinner. Then, we came out of the restaurant and I was totally bloated. And now, apparently I have a baby bump!"

Anyone who stands next to Posh will automatically look pregnant because Posh is all skin and bones (and silicone).

Singer Jennifer Lopez may be staying mum about the sex of her child, but her shopping speaks for itself. Last week Jenny from the block purchased some blue and pink onesies from Petit Tresor, and this week she picked up a few more--but got them monogrammed.

Lopez picked up matching outfits from a posh baby boutique for a boy and girl and had 'Prince' and 'Princess' labeled on them.

She's also registered at the press friendly swanky baby store Petit Tresor. Here is a list of her registered items so far according to the NY Daily News...

• There's the $349 cashmere outfit, one in pink stripes, one in blue, from Baby CZ.

• There are two Moses baskets for $225 each

• Smushy teddy bears with pink or blue ribbons for $65.

• Balmoral enameled black carriage for a mere $3,495.

• There's one $289 suede play mat.

• The cheapest item is the Adiri Natural Nurser at $22. Lopez wants 10 of those.

• There's also a $560 jogging stroller for two.

• She's also requested not one but two double Peg Perego strollers for $429 — one in toffee, and one in mint.

When asked about their famous pregnant client, Petit Tresor co-owner Samantha Winch said: "We don't talk about any of our clients." Which is why they have the press on speed dial. How else could we have gotten this list if they 'didn't talk' about their clients?
