Bruce Springsteen was forced to cancel his concert in Kansas City last night after learning his cousin was found dead in a hotel room.

Lenny Sullivan, 36, was also Bruce’s assistant road manager for the E Street Band for the last ten years.

A statement on Bruce’s website reads: "A warm and sensitive person, he was beloved by Bruce, the Band, the crew, and the entire Thrill Hill family."

Police in Kansas City are investigating the death, but as of now there is no foul play.

The sudden news caused the cancellation of the show that night, with all tickets refunded and promises to return to the area "at the earliest opportunity."

Springsteen’s next scheduled appearance is at Madison Square Garden Thursday for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concert. Our thoughts are with Bruce and the entire family at this time.
