Roughly 24 hours after news broke confirming Kris and Bruce Jenner’s separation to the mothership (E! News), Bruce decided to clear the air about their relationship.
Talking to People magazine, Bruce tackled reports that he and his wife are heading straight to a divorce attorney. Instead, he insisted that the situation isn’t as dire as the media is portraying it to be, so we can all quit latching onto that notion.
“I’m doing great. Kris is happy, I’m happy,” he said of their mutual decision to live separately—he in Malibu, she in Calabasas. “Nobody is filing for divorce.”
Amid the conflicting news, Bruce also said that he’s not going anywhere; he’ll still appear on upcoming episodes of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
“Kris has her own place and I have my own place,” he continued, setting the record straight. “There’s no animosity. Everything is good.”
Neither party will be revisiting the dating scene anytime soon. “We’re not going there,” Bruce said. “I have a family, I have my kids. All my time is filled.”
