Kiefer allegedly attacked stylist Jack McCollough at the Met Gala in May after he thought he was bothering Brooke Shields.
Brooke even admitted that McCollough had barged past her, and called the incident “unfortunate.”
Although both parties were able to come to an agreement, Kiefer was still scheduled in a Manhattan court today.
But now the date has been postponed. A spokesperson for the DA’s office says it’s been put back until further notice. Guess it pays to be Jack Bauer! You can beat someone up and get away with it!

The numbers just came in, and almost 31 million people tuned in to watch the service, which was broadcasted on every major network, as well as cable networks.
According to Nielsen ratings, 30.9 million viewers watched the service, which aired on 18 different networks and featured performances and words of remembrance from Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Brooke Shields, Jermaine Jackson and many others.
Those numbers don't even include overseas viewers. Coverage on BBC2 in the United Kingdom averaged 4 million viewers, and about 2 million more people watched on Channel 5 and Sky News. Another 20 million people in Germany tuned in.
MNSBC.com broke a single-day record with 19 million video streams on Tuesday, and CNN delivered almost 10 million streams just between noon and 5PM.
The TV audience for Jackson's memorial was on par with other recent funerals of renowned figures. Former President Ronald Reagan's burial ceremony in 2005 was seen by more than 35 million people; 33 million tuned in to Princess Diana's funeral in 1997.

And now the Jackson family has unveiled a long list of celebrities who will be contributing to the event in some form. The list is as follows: Kobe Bryant; the Andrae Crouch Choir; Berry Gordy; Shaheen Jafargholi (finalist on Britain’s Got Talent); Magic Johnson; Martin Luther King III; Bernice A. King; John Mayer; Lionel Richie; Smokey Robinson; Rev. Al Sharpton; Brooke Shields; Pastor Lucious Smith (family friend) and Stevie Wonder.
There’s been no word on what these celebrities’ specific roles will be tomorrow. But for those of you who did not obtain tickets to the memorial, it will be broadcast on every major network.

The former self-proclaimed “sun worshipper” recently learned from her doctor that she had skin cancer on her face, and has treated it as a major wake-up call!
Brooke tells People, "I had a spot on my face. The doctor scraped it, and it turned out to be precancerous.
Brooke says she "used to think it was the best thing in the world to be baking in the sun" and who, as a teen, would use "baby oil and tinfoil and lemon in your hair."
But those days have changed, and so have the sun’s harmful rays, which just get worse by the year! She went on to say, "All my girlfriends and I would go up on the roof in New York; we didn't have to be at the beach. You think that because you're not in the sun anymore, it's all in the past. And then something like that crops up and you're made aware of how dangerous it really can be."
Brooke’s new attitude towards skincare doesn’t stop with her—she’s concerned for the well-being of her kids as well. She says, "My kids are translucent. They have red hair. They reflect! I thought, 'My God, I've got to get more vigilant about it.'"
We’re glad Brooke has wised up about the sun! No one looks good with a leathery face anyway! Use Brooke’s lesson as an example for yourself before hitting the beach this Memorial Day weekend!

The altercation between Kiefer and designer Jack McCollough reportedly stemmed from a conversation Kiefer was having with Brooke Shields. She was reportedly shoved during the altercation, but her rep is now trying to clear her name from the whole situation.
Her rep said, “A number of statements have been attributed to Ms. Shields in the media that are neither true nor authorized. These statements were obviously made by those who were not in attendance at the party and constitute their version of events.
"While at the party she was bumped in to by Jack McCollough and Kiefer Sutherland became concerned. Kiefer has always been a gentleman in her company. Both Jack and Kiefer are friends of Ms. Shields and she regrets this unfortunate situation.”
Bet Brooke, Kiefer, and Jack are all wishing they just skipped that party that night. Jack got a broken nose, and Kiefer was arrested by New York police on Thursday and charged with assault. Some party!

"Kiefer is here, he walked in a few minutes ago," an officer told Us Weekly. Kiefer, who showed up to the police station with his lawyer, is expected to be charged with misdemeanor assault.
The head-butting incident happened during an after party for the Met Costume Institute Gala in New York City late Monday night.
Kiefer was reportedly intoxicated at the party and the argument involved Brooke Shields. Since Brooke was named in the incident, she may be called as a witness in the investigation.
Maybe Kiefer should consider laying off the booze for a while. He already has two DUI's under his belt, and now a possible assault charge?!
UPDATED:
Kiefer Sutherland was arrested by New York police on Thursday and charged with assault for headbutting another man. Considering the fact that he's still on probation for five years from his last arrest (DUI arrest in 2007), he may face harsh consequences. The Manhattan District Attorney's office had no comment.

When Kiefer was released from prison after his second DUI bust, he was issued probation for five years. And this incident could be in violation of that.
Although he's most likely only going to receive a minor assault charge, technically LA authorities can throw the book at him.
"If Sutherland's found in violation of probation for battery, and if he was intoxicated at the time, he could very well be sentenced to another 48 days or more," attorney Steve Sitkoff, who is not involved with the case, told People.
The incident happened during an after party for the Met Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday night, Kiefer got into an argument with fashion label Proenza Schouler co-founder Jack McCollough and head-butted him.
Kiefer, who was reportedly intoxicated at the time, ended up breaking the man's nose and he was sent to the hospital! The argument reportedly stemmed from a conversation he was having with Brooke Shields.
Seeing that he's a celebrity, he'll most likely avoid jail time, but we'll keep you guys posted about any new details surrounding the case. The altercation is currently being investigated.
UPDATE:
Kiefer Sutherland is reportedly going to surrender to the NYPD over the scuffle. LA City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan says, "Our office intends to contact the NYPD and New York prosecutors to review the incident and determine whether Mr. Sutherland violated probation.”
More details coming soon!
