When Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt "secretly" eloped in Mexico, the super public couple actually caught us all off guard. The ceremony, which was conveniently documented for 'The Hills' and Us Weekly magazine, sent shock waves to the internet and Heidi's family--who have expressed their dislike for her new "husband."
Heidi's mother Darlene Egelhoff spoke out about her disappointment (again, conveniently to Us Weekly) saying she gives the marriage "six months" and wouldn't have been surprised if Spencer "had her drugged."
While we all know the public Heidi and Spencer, no one knows the couple better than his former BFF Brody Jenner, who spoke to Hollyscoop at the KIIS Fm Jingle Ball concert on Saturday about 'The Hills' most infamous couple.
Speaking about the Heidi's mother’s comments, Brody said: "I think it's horrible. I think she is outside of a situation. No matter how much you think you know your kids or how much you think you know your parents, there is always things that your gonna keep secret in a relationship. And they are happy together. Heidi's Mom came out and said that he drugged her to get married and that’s absolutely BS."
In regards to missing Pratt’s friendship, Jenner says, “I love Spencer, I still do. Regardless of our differences, I still love him and I still care about him. “
If Mr. Ryan Seacrest is reading this, he should get his production team together and create a reality show called “Reconciliation.” Brody and Spencer could hug it out on national television--cause that's all that's missing in the world, another Spencer Pratt reality show.
