February 4, 2010 by: ANI ESMAILIAN

The Coroner believes that if someone took her to the hospital in time, she could have been saved.
TMZ reports that the primary causes of Murphy's death were pneumonia and severe anemia, while People magazine reports she died from multiple drug intoxication, pneumonia and "iron deficiency anemia."
As for the medication found in her system, it was a mixture of prescription meds as well as over-the-counter medication for a cold and premenstrual cramps.
According to TMZ, the mixture of drugs "pushed her over the line" but the underlying problems were the pneumonia and anemia.
Brittany was laid to rest in a private ceremony in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve.
