Brittany Murphy's Mother and Husband Speak to Larry King
January 16, 2010 by: NORA GASPARIAN

King asked the two how they were holding up to which they replied, "I don't think I am. I don't think either of us are..."
"No," adds Sharon.
"You wake up in the morning and it's like a rebirth. It's... there's not enough time to... your dreams, be they good or bad, when you wake up and I reach out to touch or hold my wife and she isn't there," Monjack said.
"Sharon and I were holding each other," he recalls. "And they let us know at the same time that they -- that she hadn't made it."
Says Sharon, "But we knew before that. It was just -- you know, you felt her life go out of her."
Touching on the drug issue, Monjack denied that his wife suffered from a prescription drug problem and an eating disorder but claimed that Hollywood was the problem.
"You want to know what broke Brittany Murphy's heart?" he asks King. "Hollywood broke Brittany Murphy's heart."
