Brittany Murphy's Husband Upset by Coroner Report

Brittany Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack is reportedly “ridiculously upset” by the coroner’s report on his late wife’s cause of death.

Yesterday, the LA coroner announced that Murphy had died primarily from pneumonia, on top of multiple drug intoxication and "iron deficiency anemia."

But Monjack still says he doesn’t agree. "Everything [surprised me and Brittany's mom about the report]," he told People. "I expected [the cause of death] to be her heart."

He went on to say that Brittany was “not that ill” on the day she died in the couple’s Hollywood Hills home.

"She wasn't coughing up. I've had pneumonia and coughed up handfuls of spittle. So yeah, everything surprised us, everything,” he continued.

However, we can’t help but notice that Monjack seems relieved that the coroner isn’t blaming him for anything. "Case closed," said Monjack. "As the coroner said, there's no foul play."

Something about Simon rubs us the wrong way! Maybe it’s all the talking to the press he’s doing instead of silently mourning the death of his wife!
