Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack will soon be questioned by police as will several other people. Many have spoken out against Monjack and his bad influence on Murphy.
Yesterday, Monjack spoke out about the loss of his wife and said he was devastated.
Monjack originally did not want the LA Coroner's office to conduct an autopsy on his deceased wife, which raised a few red flags.
Friend of the couple have spoken out against their concerns about their relationship ever since they got married.
Monjack seemed to have a lot of debt these past few years.
Here are some of the things on his resume that should raise flags that he was a douchebag:
- In 2006, court judgment for $600,000 was made against him by the Coutts and Company bank.
- In 2005, he was evicted from his New York apartment after failing to pay $10,000 in rent.
- Gawker reports that there are two outstanding warrants for his arrest in Virginia. One is for alleged fraud and credit card theft.
- In April 2007, he was reportedly arrested by custom agents for overstaying his work visa.
What does Simon have to say about all this?
“Like all businessmen, I have faced many lawsuits,” Simon said. “It is a real tragedy that success, greed, envy and celebrity are the motivation for attacking my family and character.”
Meanwhile, it turns out that Murphy had not updated her will. Brittany left her estate to her mother, Sharon Murphy.
