When Tabloids Attack: Britney Spears Edition

In this weeks edition of 'When Tabloids Attack,' we're taking a look into the whirlwind life of ex-pop tart Britney Spears. Practically every tabloid in America is going on a bash Britney rampage this week.

Star magazine is reporting that Britney supposedly said that both her children were mistakes--which we don't buy. Britney may not be a fit mother but she genuinely seems like she loves those boys.

Life & Style magazine says that Kevin said that Brit's going to lose her babies and that he 'declares victory.'

Us Weekly claims to have a 'tell all' from Britney's ex nannies and old staff members.

Ok! magazine took a break from the 'Britney's a bad mom' story and went with the 'Britney's a lesbian' route.

I know she's a nut case and all but seriously she's human. She has emotions, fears and flaws like the rest of us. I'm starting to feel bad for Britney only because I don't think she realizes how disconnected with reality she is. She doesn't need rehab, she needs some major therapy...and she needs to seriously just fall off the radar for a while. Just when we think it can't get worse, it always does.

How hard is it for people at their income levels to hire a qualify nanny and still maintain their party life style? I just don't get it -- why is this ever a problem for Britney?

Kevin is no saint and what he did to Shar sucks, but I think he deserves credit...he is stepping up like a father should. I really do believe he loves his children and wants the best for them. His 2 kids by Shar have always been around Kevin and Brit before Brit had her own kids, and there are plenty of photos of Jayden and Sean playing with Kevin and Shar's kids. Plus, Kevin allows Brit's family to spend time with the kids, while Britney is trying to keep everyone away. I am sure money plays a role, but Kevin could get money from Brit WITHOUT going to bat for his children the way he is. I really think he does care. I have never been a big Britney fan...I am a Christina fan haha. But for christ's sake Brit...CLEAN UP YOUR DAMNED ACT. She is like watching a train wreck in slow motion. ENOUGH already. She best take time off before trying for a comeback. Is it that hard to not drink, stay in, and lay low? She is too old for this immature, childish crap.

Seems like drugs and alcohol had an impact on her life. I was suprised the ex wants custody of her kids but now maybe she'll see the light. Its not up to anybody to judge her as a parent b/c we don't know her yet i feel bad for her b/c she might loose her kids. How can anybody with that much money provide a bad life for them. The ex took a lot of her fortune so thier taken care of and she may be all messed up on drugs and alchohol but i am sure she is hitting rock bottom and they should address that in helping her not permantly taking her kids. Children need thier mom. Man her ex is brutal but trying to do the right thing although i think tough love sometimes wakes you up to how your life is going. Best of luck to her. I am sure she is only that way because of drugs and alcohol and if not she wouldn't be in that mess because it messes up your mind.

britney is a ho, but that star cover is evil. unless there's video of her calling her sons "mistakes" to their faces, she should sue them into oblivion. this is turning into a social panic. britney is a bad mom, britney should lose her kids, britney was mean to nannies, britney married a douchebag, britney is a lesbian. i mean, god damn, how much is too much?

I cant wait till tomarrow so i can buy all these tabloids. I just want to say to any of you out there who is holding britneys bullsh!t in their hands and defending her as a person, i ask you why? WHY? First off, the girl is nothing but a selfish, spoiled, whining little bitch who put herself in this situation. The media didnt do this to her, she did. Why feel sorry for someone who isnt sorry???? THats what im saying. She is a homewrecker, she has had adultraous affairs with married men (columbus short)....kevin (shar was pregnant at the time, same with columbus short). She doesnt deserve sympathy because shes not sorry for anything. She lives in denial, its her middle name and she loves to play victim when she is the villian. I am tired of people still trying to give her the benefit of the doubt when the bitch dont deserve it. She put herself in this mess and there is nothing she can do to fix it unless she bawls her eyes out, gets on her knees, and begs for forgivness from all the people she has hurt. Until she takes full and utter responsibility for HER OWN ACTIONS, she will always be the crazy mess that is britney spears.

I have read some of your comments concerning Britney Spears and it is obvious that the collective level of your IQ's is the same number as your individual shoe size. There is only one cure for your stupidity and that is capital punishment and the sooner the better. Our only hope is that you, and Britney, all leave on the next trip on the Titanic. actually according to Shar, Kevin and his kids have wonderful relationship. In fact, before Brit had her kids, Shars and Kevs kids were with Kevin alot. After Brits kids came, that came to an end and sources says it is because Brit didn't want him around his other kids which I do believe because you can tell she is a very jealous woman who will do something like that--hell she doesn't even care about the well being of her own kids and about providing stability to them. Like Tasha said, move to Louisana, get away from teh limelight and take care of herself and focus on her kids instead of her career. I can not feel sorry for someone who knows they are out doing wrong and being selfish such as Britney. She refuses to get help and admit she has a problem, she refuses to become responsible for the kids she wanted to have. So nope, no sympathy here.

it doesn't make sense that Kevin left a pregnant woman for Britney because he doesn't care about those two kids with Shar. How come he cares about the kids whose mom has all the money? Coincidence? I think not. If we should be judging anyone, it should be Kevin - he's got two kids from another woman that he doesn't give a crap about but now that everyone thinks he's the hero cause he "cares" about his youngest 2 kids now he's a saint. I think everyone should look at all the facts and leave the judging to someone else.

I think that Britney loves her children and that Kevin Federline is a gold digging slimy creep. You can tell how phony the whole situation is when you see Shar Jackson exalting the praises of K-Fed's so-called parenting skills. She is also on the Britney money train so she has to stick with Kevin. Its all so pathetic and transparent. Poor Britney! I hope she goes to therapy and i hope she keeps those beautiful babies. I wish the press would leave her alone already! With this amount of criticism and attention - Britney is holding up quite well because any other human being would have had a MAJOR breakdown by now. Britney may be experiencing some emotional difficulties - but what human being doesn't. GIVE HER A BREAK, CUT HER SOME SLACK - FOR THE SAKE OF THOSE TWO BOYS!!
