Was Britney Under the Influence?


The big question remains: was Britney Spears under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol last night when all the pandemonium went down?

According to sources at Life & Style magazine, Britney tested negative to drug tests when she was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last night.

“Her blood test just came back, and, thank God, it was clean. There are no traces of drugs or alcohol of any kind,” a source close to the Spears family tells Life & Style.

Although I'm hoping Spears' wouldn't have done drugs when she had her little boys with her, I'm not buying the 'negative drug test' report. First of all, I'm sure the "close source to the Spears family" is Sam Lufti so obviously he's going to say she's clean. Second, how did they manage to get a BLOOD drug test so quickly and in the middle of the night? It's not a pregnancy test! Blood drug tests take time.

Other reports claim that Britney's meltdown was due to her missing a dosage of her bipolar medication. Spears' father arrived at the hospital late last night and her sister Jamie Lynn sneaked into Cedars-Sinai a little over an hour ago. So where is Britney's mother? She's apparently "extremely distraught" but she is not at the hospital.

the only blood test that could be done in the short amount of time is what blood type britney has. testing for drugs and such take days and sometimes weeks.

I just wish someone could reach her. It just doesn't seem possible. How many times must she hit "rock bottom" to wake up and take action for herself and her children? I can't imagine being followed and the stalked the way is though! I'd be running over more than someone's foot! She really needs to move out of CA...someplace seculded like maybe the Cruise compound in CO =)

OK, so I have to assume every one of you idiots has married a money grubbing scumbag, decided to divorce him after realizing even you couldnt make him talented enough to make his own money, then had to fight him in court once a month because the "spousal/loser" support ran out and he decided to drag you through the mud to keep the cash flowing. If not, shut up . You dont know her or her life you've never walked a mile in her shoes and you only wish the paps followed you around the way they do her so someone would actually know you exist. Britney Spears is clearly bipolar. This is the first time I've actually heard the words "bipolar disorder" used in reference to her, even though, knowing two people who have it, it has been obvious to me for many months. People who are bipolar often try to treat themselves with various street drugs, so they're initially diagnosed as having a "drug problem." Her behavior over the past year or so is CLASSIC bipolar, with or without any drugs. Poor kid. Bipolar patients cannot be trusted to manage their own medication schedules. They deliberately miss dosages because they think they "don't need it" or they "feel better" or it makes them sleepy, etc. Britney Spears has many people around her, but none of them seem to understand that they are the ones responsible for the management of her disease. They have to stand up to her. The illness itself makes Britney unable to manage it on her own.

Anonymous why don't you ask Britney why she ignored everyone and married a guy who walked out on a pregnant girlfriend. This guy had a neon sign that said golddigger. She married him anyway and popped out 2 kids. A blind man could see how that marriage was gonna turn out. Her choices are the reason why her life is the mess it is. She has proven time and time again, no one makes her do shit she doesn't want to do. Kevin might not be a pillar of morality but unlike her he is mentally stable. I hope she gets the care she needs for her problems but no one can help Britney but Britney.

Out didn't the judge say she was a habitual drug & alcohol user? Are you saying you know different? Several talking heads doctors on tv said that she is a dual diagnosis, chemical dependency & mentally illness. That's why her recovery is going to take a while. One say "no more of this 30 day Promises nonsense."

It did not take you long DTE after I posted that to get a response for it. Sorry to dissapoint, but no I don't miss you. I found it weird that someone like you who seems to be so devoted to this girl and defending her would be avoiding the biggest thrill of the century, and I thought you also claimed that you never did anything for St. Judes, and that Miss Thang was making that shit up.
