Spears Keeps Her Kids - Britney Spears

Britney Spears may have had one of the worst weeks of her life. She bombed her VMA performance, she lost her lawyer and her manager--but at least she's keeping her kids.

A spokesperson at Spears' new lawyers firm Freid and Goldsman tells The Insider that yesterday's hearing affirmed Spears and Federline's joint custody agreement.

I'm glad that she didn't lose her kids completely but the court should order Spears to some therapy--God knows she needs it!

hmm...Her being a fit mother is not based on weither or not she is a good person or a good girl. It's based on weither or not she has proper judgement making skills, and you said yourself "that she seems lost somewhere". As a mother you have to be looking out for not only your children, but yourself as well, and she made it very clear that she is not taking care of herself the way she should. She also made it clear with that car accident in the parking lot that she does not care about others as well. So why would she care about those kids? She needs to get out of that Alice in Wonderland life that she's been living and wake up to accept reality.

i am a britney fan..and i demand that britney gets help!! she needs threapy, psychiatrist..and everything!! i know that she is a good mother, because everyone knows this girl is a good girl with a big heart. but her mind is just lost somewhere..and someone needs to get her help and figure out what kind of problem she has so she can be treated. she is in denial..and any disorder that has to do mentally..the person is in denial. so britney...please go see a therapist, psychiatrist, so someone can figure out what is really wrong with you!!

I knew DTE could not admit that she was wrong about Britney having problems. That Brit is not at a healthy state of mind to be capable of caring for two little ones. In fact just, because Brit still has her kids does not mean that she will be allowed to keep them. If she fails a drug exam or does something that the courts find to be unfit then you can bet she won't be caring for those kids.

What was Kevin doing when Britney was pegnantand after the kis were born? Partying, gamblin, remember when Brit had to kick him out of the house and sell bck his car because he brought maijuana to the house? Brit isn't a perfect parent, but atleast she loves the children, was there for them, and can pay to take care of them. I do not trust Kevin with the child support money. Being the child that he is, he'll probably use it on himself.

Actually they said on the news that the hearing to determine whether or not it remains at 50/50 is postponed until the end of november. Probably because Britney's lawyer quit and the new lawyer needs time. She just has a temporary reprieve.

well i got my response from the loyal brit fan...not being nasty here. But Britney has problems and she is not what is best for the kids right now and KFed is. He is controling himself, not going out when he has the kids and not putting them in harms way. She did get lucky...well lets say her money got her lucky as we see with most celebs.....

I said this from the beginning, she will never loose those kids. She loves her children and everyone keeps talking about how bad she is. Well I have one question WHAT WAS KEVIN DOING FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS WHILE BRIT WAS PREGNANT AND BEING THE PERFECT MOTHER? HE ONLY STOPPED THE GOOD TIMES WHEN HE DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY FOR THEM.

Wow, what a lucky girl...alot of fans were praying you, sad little girl. She came close to losing it all, but she gets to keep her kids. But now she has no manager and no one would touch her with a ten-foot pole. I can only hope she will go away for a while and pull it together.

Britney should tell the judge that she will purchase a childrens house and each parent stays at that house (50/50) with the kids and a nannie paid by Britney. Since the house and all child expense will be paid by Brit then K-Fed should get no child support and his alimony for a 3 year marriage should end in November as per the prenupt. My guess is that the nannie will be reporting K-Fed as a no show within a month. HE IS ONLY AFTER THE MONEY!!
