Britney Spears’ parents have been very verbal about wanting to get rid of Britney’s current lawyers from the firm Trope and Trope. They feel like the firm is just not cutting it and they don’t like the fact that they have a relationship with the creep Sam Lutfi.
According to
TMZ, Jamie and Lynne Spears want to rehire Britney’s former attorney Laura Wasser. The hot and smart Wasser quit Britney a few months back because Britney wouldn’t listen to her.
Wasser reportedly paid Britney a visit while she was at the psych ward and sources at the hospital say that Britney was really excited to see her. Apparently, if Britney doesn’t try to argue the conservatorship, Wasser will start repping her again. Get Wasser back Britney! At least you got to see your kids when she was repping you!
UPDATE: Britney's attorney Adam Streisand just quit. He released the following statement:
"At the request of Britney Spears, Adam Streisand, a Partner at Loeb & Loeb LLP, met with her yesterday to discuss her legal rights in connection with the conservatorship over her person and estate. Following that meeting, Mr. Streisand learned that the court had issued orders that prevent Ms. Spears from retaining counsel of her own choosing, and on that basis, Mr.Streisand has decided he will not represent her at this time."
