Simon Cowell: Britney's Career Is Over

Britney Spears

It's easy to kick someone when their down which is why everyone and their moms are standing in line for a chance to bash Britney Spears and her horrendous VMA performance.

Music mogul Simon Cowell has slammed Spears' MTV Video Music Awards appearance - insisting he wouldn't have let her perform if he was her manager. You and the rest of the world!

He says, "If I had been looking after Britney I'd have taken one look at her in rehearsals and I wouldn't have allowed her on stage. The song wasn't right, the image wasn't right and she just wasn't rehearsed.

"The problem she has now is that she could have killed her career. It's difficult to come back from that performance, for a while at least."

Despite getting bashed by the critics, the big bosses at 'Extra' have invited Britney to their studios to "show the world what you've got". They released the following statement: "'Extra' is opening its doors to Britney Spears for a second chance at a comeback.

"We've made the call to Spears, inviting her to perform at 'Extra' on our stage in Los Angeles or in Las Vegas at the Extra Lounge in Planet Hollywood's Hotel and Resort.

Homegirl needs damage control and she needs that shit fast! Another 'comeback' performance is the last thing she needs--especially if it's anything like her VMA performance.

Sure, I'll comment. Britney is indeed a slut, an unfit mother, has no talent, and is only good for squirting out kids in rapid succession. Furthermore, she is ugly. Make that UGLY. When she shaved her head, we saw what an ugly-shaped head she had--complete with nasty blubbery-lobed ears. Also, the slut has either no chin or an awfully short thick neck. What sort of a sick society would even give this piece of human dross a second glance? Her face is ugly, her chunky body is ugly, and her cooter is nasty! Enough of her already.

Oh yes, one other thing: I hope, hope, hope that Britney's ex-husband K.Fed will be successful in getting his boys in the custody battle that is heating up. He seems dedicated to his sons, and we certainly don't see HIM exposing himself in public! Did you ever notice: whenever Britney is in the dung-pile with the public, her fans, the entertainment industry, etc. she thinks she can reclaim her 15 seconds of fame by flashing her ugly private parts. Well, that's one way to make the news, but it isn't a positive image. Consider this, if the bitch's ex-husband showed his private parts, he would probably be arrested for indecent exposure. Why,oh why, haven't they cited the SLUT with absolutely no talent for indecent exposure?(Or polluting the environment...)

I see there is a lot of people in america who needs to be feed by celebrities 's problems because that's true britney has problems that's a fact. But do we need to talk about it every single day.I'm not american and every day in europe we hear about Iraq, Iran or Africa but when I watch CNN or Fox what do I see? paris hilton, lindsay lohan,Britney spears or what happen yesterday on american Idol or what george clooney have to say about darfour. And if i'm lucky I can watch a new show.....your country is pretty messed up, wake up....

Britney Spears...this is a dead topic. She screwed herself over and she needs to hit rock bottom before she can get her life back on track. We could debate about her for years and that is what the tabloids want. How do you think they make their money on magazines and internet? Her career is already down the drain and everytime she ends up trying to make up for what is lost she makes the situation even worse...she has no positive image to give to her fans and to society in general. We should really stop talking about her and move on with our lives. She probably thrives off this attention...If she lost it then maybe she could be a better person.

Britney..there's so much we all can say about her/and ofcours her behavior has been recently horrible/ but no matter what I LIKE HER. I hope that she will be okay soon and have enough power to be a good mother and artist/I and many other fans believe in her!

Wow, when thats what your getting for an offer to perform, for Extra, you know your career is heading into the toilet. I watch Extra. The only people that perform there are hasbeens or artists not selling.

She should take up the 'Extra' offer to redo her performance. No one will want her now other than for a good laugh.

Too bad it wasnt 50 Cent or Kanye West who's career went in the tank... you want to talk about no talent??? At least Britney's got T&A... even if she has let herself go a bit over the years. In any event I think MTV should have had Ashley Simpson open the VMAs...haha.

yeah i agree with one of the previous posts. i have been her fan since i was a teen, grew up idolizing the old britney...and even though she changed for the worse in the recent years, i believe that she can start working her way up. when you have everything, you have so much to lose, and i think now that she doesnt have mcuh pressure, since she killed any hope for herself, she can work her way up and wow people once again.

"It's easy to kick someone when their down..." Try, "they're down"... Leave her alone already. I'm sure she realizes by now she's DONE!

Just the classic 'can't handle fame and fortune' tale. Nevertheless, until the world jaks out of the stupor of granting every tramp and guttersnipe, under the guise of entertainer, audience for sexual release, it's only setting stage for public pornography in no distant future. Your so-called 'stars' are merely testing the waters.

Let's face it, Britney was never known for her singing talent. It was the total package that people liked. I think she is one of the most over-exploited people on earth and I'm actually starting to feel sorry for her. I can't imagine what it's like to have 100 million people watching and commenting every time you have a bad day (and she's had quite a few). Most people I know in their mid-20s wouldn't have the maturity to cope with that. It must suck, even with all the millions of dollars.
