Here we go again. With the help of her father Jamie,
Britney Spears recently filed a restraining order against her ex manager Sam Lutfi. And now Sam claims she's the one who reaches out to him.
Sam is speaking out against Spears claiming he hasn't threatened her in any way, nor has he tried to manipulate her. In fact, he says, she's the one who is always contacting him!
"I don't think anyone would want to have on public record allegations of behavior that weren't committed," Lutfi's lawyer Bryan Freedman tells
People.
"A restraining order is to protect someone against stalkers and people who want to commit violence, and that description doesn't fit my client."
"I have not, in any alleged communications with Britney, her hairdresser or any other person, threatened any act of violence against Britney or her family," he states in the papers.
Sam has since sued the Spears family for defamation and battery. Jamie Spears was set to testify at a 1:30 p.m. hearing on Monday to uphold the restraining order.
We're with Jamie on this one! Britney was a complete mess when she was under Sam's influence. She finally has her life (and career) back on track, so we don't blame Jamie for trying to keep Sam as far away from his daughter as possible.
