Ryan Seacrest: Sharing a Stage With Britney is 'Like Being Invisible'

Britney Spears has become such a pop icon, her presence in a room will steal anyone’s thunder. Ryan Seacrest recently presented Spears, who helped to host the KIIS-FM Wango Tango event.

Seacrest told Hollyscoop at Wango Tango, “Sharing the stage with Britney was like being invisible. I just had to stand there and go, ‘It’s Britney everybody’, and they scream. She really looks great.”

Seacrest added that he’s a fan of her new album and is looking forward to her tour.

As far as the controversial Idol season, Seacrest told Hollyscoop, “We had one of the best pool of talents we’ve ever had, and we’ve got an interesting and I think somewhat surprising final three.”

Audiences were surprised at Pia Toscano and James Durbin getting booted off, and at this point in the season, anything could happen.

“It’s going to be a tight battle,” Ryan added.

And as far as Idol’s possible competitor, the X-Factor, Ryan only told us what he thought of Simon and Paula’s reunion:

“I was happy to see those kids get together. I saw them kiss. Finally.”
