Photog Injured During Britney Chase

It was only a matter of time! A paparazzi was seriously injured yesterday during a Britney Spears chase.

Britney was around the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills and naturally there was chaos. There were more than a dozen cars chasing Spears down when one photog hit another one on a motorcycle.

The spotter(a guy who doesn’t actually have a camera, but tips photogs off about stars whereabouts) was taken to Cedars Sinai Hospital and is reportedly in serious condition.

There needs to be some sort of law banning people to chase others. I can’t believe they haven't done anything about that yet! Not only is it dangerous for the actual person being chased but its dangerous for everyone around. These people leave their cars in the middle of the streets just to run out to get their shots. Needless to say it's very dangerous.

wardge, you're right, the paps have been going too far. I read a story a while back about how the Hollywood paparazzi went downhill in recent years. A lot of the problem has to do with photo agencies hiring non-photographers to snap photos. These guys are so talentless that their only hope at getting a decent shot is to get in real close.

Someone needs to do something about these paps... I have watched the online videos of the utter chaos they cause when they are chasing stars down. They block traffic in the streets and on the sidewalk, they jump on cars, get in all-out brawls, etc. California needs legislation to stop this kind of behavior before someone gets killed like Princess Diana was! Haven't they ever heard of a zoom lens? I think they have gone way to far, and much like the other posters here, I think they deserve every bruise and broken bone they get...

I really think even a law that says the paps have to stay say like 100 feet or farther even away from a celeb to get their pictures would make it alot easier on the regular celebs trying to live their lives. I know Britney courts the paps but someone is going to get killed.

the reason there haven't been any laws made is because you can't very well make a law forbidding someone to be a total fucking moron. that's all the paps seems to be doing. everytime i see a video of them harrasing people they're shouting at people saying "i'm just trying to do my job! this is my job!" stalking people is not a job, and they deserve every broken bone or injury they get. they'll get no sympathy from me.
