Lynne Spears: I'm Not A Perfect Mom

Now that Britney and her mother Lynne Spears are back on speaking terms, Lynne is speaking about their once-troubled relationship and mistakes she made as a mother.

"I think you have to let them follow their dreams," she says in a new interview with People magazine. "I think it would be worse in the end if you didn't." She added, "Was I the perfect mom? No."

"Every mother makes mistakes," said Lynne, "and I'm no different."

The important thing is that Britney and Lynne have rekindled their relationship and her family is back in her life. Lynne admits that although they went through a rough patch last year, her and Britney are "back to four or five phone calls a day." Amen! We all know she needs family in her life, and she really seems to be back on track, which is all Britney fans care about.
