Designers usually love it when famous celebs sport their designs, but in the case of Louis Vuitton vs. Britney Spears it's more like 'don't use our shit.'
The house of Vuitton won a case against Britney Spears in injunction to Spears' 2005 "Do Something" video. In the video Spears is driving a pink Hummer with counterfeit Louis Vuitton "cherry blossom" interior. The video is no longer allowed to play on European TV stations, Women’s Wear Daily reports.
The video's producer was also ordered to pay $117,600 for damages to Vuitton’s image, and $1,470 per day until the video is removed from the Internet.
What a slap in the face for Spears huh? She's such a mess that Vuitton slapped her people, Jive records, and MTV with a lawsuit because they 'tarnished' Vuitton's image. I'm guessing Britney's gonna be taking her business to Gucci from now on.
