There have been reports for weeks that Britney Spears' douche bag 'manager' Sam Lutfi is being investigated by the LAPD for allegedly drugging Britney. Unfortunately it turns out those reports are bogus.
TMZ has been on a rampage blasting Lutfi (with our complete blessing of course) but Radar and PageSix are now reporting that there is no truth to the reports. "We don't have anything," a spokesperson for the LAPD tells Radar. "I don't see any concrete evidence of a report on file. I don't even know if there's a crime that has occurred."
PageSix also spoke with LAPD Media Relations representative Richard French, who told said "there is no investigation into Sam allegedly medicating Britney." Follow-up calls to the LAPD Media Relations department were answered by Officer Lee, who said, "Who would you believe? The LAPD or Internet reports?"
I was really hoping Lutfi was under investigation and was keeping my fingers crossed that they would throw the book at him if he were found guilty. Oh well, just another day in Britney Spears' Soap Opera life.
