A Los Angeles judge approved Trawick on Wednesday at Britney’s request, not her father’s as was previously reported. The 30-year-old superstar has been under a court-ordered conservatorship since 2008.
Trawick, her former agent, will join Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, in control over personal aspects of her life. However, this will not include managing her assets.
That power remains with her father and an attorney, according to the Associated Press. So he can help her with shopping but not negotiate that $15 million deal with “X Factor” that TMZ reports is in the works?
After the hearing, Geraldine Wyle, an attorney for Jamie Spears, told reporters that her client was “thrilled” and said, “It’s all in the family.”
During the hearing it was also decided that the sale of Britney’s former mansion in the Hollywood Hills can go forward without court approval. The house was listed at $2,995,000 and just sold for $4,253,000!
