Daddy Spears is a happy man--his conservatorship has been extended until July 31, 2008.
The extension was made by L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz at an unscheduled court hearing yesterday afternoon. Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini tells People magazine, "I can confirm that the order was issued this afternoon, but I don’t know the attorneys’ motives."
In order to celebrate the extension, Jamie let Britney spend the rest of her afternoon on a shopping spree at Intermix on Robertson Blvd. She caused such a media frenzy outside the store, she couldn't even get back into her waiting car without her bodyguard having to elbow a few paps. Just another day in the life of a fallen pop star.
