The pop princess got the sympathy card from her fans when she filed for divorce from Kevin Federline but her recent outings with Paris Hilton isn’t doing her any justice. Recent reports suggest that people in Britneys camp aren’t happy about her new union, especially because they feel that it’s hurting her career and her much anticipated comeback.
According to the New York Post, not only is Britney picking up on Paris Hiltons “bad habits” but her famed work ethic is also taking a hit. Spears, who earlier in the month was hard at work in New York studios, has "been missing recent recording sessions because she has been out all night partying," said one spy, adding that “her label [Jive] is very worried." But in reality all Britney wants to do is have fun, the pop princess has said to pals, "I gave birth for 21/2 years, and now I want to party". In more positive news, we hear that Britney Spears has donated 170 personal items to an online auction at Christie's in aid of the Britney Spears Foundation for children in need. Among the items is a page from her junior high school notebook containing her handwritten book report on Rex Warner's translation of Sophocles' 'Antigone'.
The essay is expected to fetch up to $700 at the auction, which takes place on December 4, and is written in black ballpoint pen on both sides of the paper.Britney got 88 out of 100 for her efforts and gained comments from her teacher including "Nice" and "Organized".
