Family Wants Britney In Rehab

This Britney Spears saga keeps getting more and more intense. Details from last night's incident are slowly being revealed, and they're not pretty!

Britney is being uncooperative at the hospital and is currently heavily sedated. She refused any visitors and flipped out when Kevin showed up to the hospital late last night.

“Kevin tried to talk to Britney at the hospital last night and she freaked out,” an insider tells PageSix. “He wanted to try and get to the bottom of what she did, but she was not cooperative.”

Kevin apparently showed up to court this afternoon to ask the judge to order Britney into rehab.

Although I don't doubt drug and alcohol abuse, I think Britney's problems are much deeper than we think. She needs serious medical attention. It's obvious from her actions that she is mentally unstable. I hope she gets the help she needs, we don't want her to end up like Anna Nicole.

I am sad this was Kevin and not a family member but who ever just as long as it happens or this girl will end up dead! Her children do not need to grow up and read how there mother died, it is bad enough that they will be able to read about this.

The girl wants attention... if she's not front page or top headline she's sure to do something to get back in her place. I agree she has something wrong mentally too but it seems like she enjoys being followed every second of every day... if she really doesn't like it then why does she act so weird. I mean the pink wig, she doesn't even dress right anymore, and when she didn't get her way while trying to take a picture of some mural she freaked out and slammed HER camera on someone else's windshield-GROW UPshe throws hissy fits and to be honest if I were driving the car she hit I would have gotten out and beat her ass, that is just rude and childish.

This is such a sad situation and I sincerely hope Britney will finally get some much needed help. I don't think that deep down Britney is a bad person. My thoughts and prayers are with her and I hope her family will stand by her and give her the support that she needs. From the looks of her photo's of that night she's all bubbly like nothing is even wrong and that's just messed up. Now I know their are two sides to every story, but I have no idea how she is going to be able to explaine why she held her kids hostage. I agree Tasha she needs a combination of things because rehab alone is not the answer she needs to sit down with someone she can actually trust and talk out her crap. She needs to come to realize what's real and what's not and intill she reaches the bottom of the barrel (What she considers the bottom to be) she is not going to except the fact that something might not be right. I'm not surprised she's being uncooperative. And that one sentence says it all for me. I can just hear her now..."Who the hell do you think you're dealing with! I'm Britney f-in Spears! I could BUY you and the rest of this freakin' hospital if I wanted to! I'm famous, and you BETTER show me the respect I deserve!" The first step in getting help is admitting there's a problem. I'm thinking that owning up to her personal problems, in humility, is not likely on tonight's menu in that hospital room. It's a choice, and it's hers to make. She obviously needs to take full responsibility for her actions, and allow her family, and mental health professionals to help her. But, most of all, she needs to make the decision to get healthy, once and for all. If not for herself, for the sake of her own children. They need their mom to be a fully functioning adult, healthy and strong. I hope for them all that the day can come once her children are grown, that they can look at their mom with pride in her accomplishments to overcome her personal demons. We all have our own demons to conquer. It's a choice for each of us how we will deal with them...or not. She's no different from anyone else.

LaChat come on read and comprehend. The story clearly said at one point she was laughing hysterical and the next she is screaming she would rather die than give Kevin her babies. This is a mental breakdown and I for one will not play the put down game.

Okay people lets get real here. We all know Brit has an obvious mental problem..we've been saying that for over a year now. But that doesn't mean she doesn't have a substance abuse problem...in which she does. If drugs wasn't the issue, Kfed (who keep in mind was married to her and lived with her) and her family (who had initially sent her to rehab because they KNEW she was on some sort of drugs rather illegal or prescription) would not be trying to persuade her into going to rehab AGAIN. The more people try to enable her by telling her it is all mental and the drugs had nothing to do with it, the longer she will be kept from acknowledging her problems and getting help for both her mental and drug issues. Now we all know Kfed isn't the father of the year, but right now compared to Britney he is.

I don't know why folks say she does not have a drug/alcohol issues. The judge said so. And he has a whole lot more evidence than we do. Remember most of this stuff is sealed, we just get bits and pieces. I don't know what drugs she is using , illegal or prescription, but you don't stop using because someone tells you to. And the same thing with drinking. Look at the picture above, she's on something. Now her mental instability might be her major problem, but the substance abuse is not helping. Isn't that why she hates her parents, because they want her back into rehab?

Another site said that she was wasted on vodka and this site says Kevin wants her back in rehab. And another says her parents want her to go to a dual therapy facility in Connecticut (for mental & substance abuse)I've always believed it was both drugs/alcohol & mental. Even back when she was going out everynight, exposing her crotch, shaving her head and people like you were saying "leave her alone, she's just having fun" or "Kevin is worse, he just wants her money." It was clear back then if she didn't get it together she would lose those kids.

DTE, don't be stupid. Mental issues is obvious BUT that isn't the ONLY thing that made her the way she is. She takes drugs which DOES NOT help with her obvious mental issues. Gosh you guys are so STUPID! Tmz is another gossip rag who doesn't know what the hospital found in her system. People with mental issues does drugs to help calm their demons in their minds. They go from recreational use to hardcore use to help forget about their "demons". She needs help for both. Don't be stupid. Do some research on Mental disorders-bipolarism. Ask a psych how many times drugs and Bipolar goes hand and hand. Experts are already saying she is both drug and mental. Don't play this off as nothing. She has both mental and drug problems. And lastly DTE, TMZ isn't fully sure if it is Bipolar that is why their headline is BRIT PROBABLY BIPOLAR. Why did they use bipolar? Because they are not 100% sure that is what the diagnosises is...why is that? BECAUSE THE OFFICAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE HOSPITAL HASN'T HAPPEN AND THEY ARE SPECULATING!

DTE/Out, an experience from someone who knows first hand about bipolar and drugs off tmz 8. My own sister WHO IS BI-POLAR and suffered from severe Post-partum depression has said many times to me that Brit Brit is the same way, and that the drug abuse is not even the bigger issue here. Some people with mental issues often use more than they need to (drugs) to calm the demons. So what was once recreational because necessity. My sis went through the same drama here and was hospitalized and finally got treatment. Has good and bad days but she is alive and my family is greatful. Prayers to Brit! Some are saying bi polar, post partum, borderline personality disorder, substance abuse and just crazy as hell. Everybody has a diagnosis. Nobody fuckin' knows. But that picture does say stoned to me. And that's just my opinion I don't know either.

DTE, that story was actually from a poster off TMZ who was comparing her situation with Britneys. Basically we know she is mental but the drugs isn't helping anything and if they don't treat both, then she will never be in complete control of her life.

Well the end to us is not the end to her. I'm sure she will do something even more looney in the next few days if not sooner because this girl can't help herself and she won't allow anyone else to help her either. She needs to get to the point where she can except that she might just have a problem(keyword is MIGHT) I not saying she does or she doesn't. i think britney would had been fine if kevin would had kept his agreement with her for 50/50 custody of the kids there is nothing really wrong with brit but she does need family and love right now and she would listen to her mother more often if it didnt seem as if she was walking along with kevin all the fucking time

Your Right, I do feel really sorry for Britney, And kevin is such a leech, hes not spurting out that she has two guns and he thought she would kill her kids what a nasty piece of work he is, he wants sole custody so he can get more money out of her its quite obvious, He has 2 other children but does he care about them NO!! and why not?? becuase their mother is not worth $100m. Its crazy to assume britneys doing this to be 'front page'. Her baby is just over a year...she probably has ppd and with having her life style its probably more than anyone can take. almost everyone who falls into depression turns to drugs and alcohol. Depression is a gateway for other mental illnesses like anxiety, parinoia, schitzophrenia, ect. I feel terrible or her. When you hear things about yourself over and over you start to believe it. Shes just lost and fame and media is making it worse.
