Criss Angel may be a 'phenomenon' but he’s most notably recognized for his relationship with Britney Spears.

We caught up with the magician in Las Vegas during the Planet Hollywood resort and casino grand opening, and asked him what went wrong with his MTV VMA performance with the pop princess.

Criss has been mum about the performance and refused to publicly comment about it until now. Criss even had a special message for the fallen pop star. Check out the video...
