Britney Spears has been working really hard in the dance studio for the past few weeks. Rumors have been swirling for the
past week that Spears was going to have a surprise comeback performance on Wednesday.
She was reportedly going to take the stage at the Los Angeles club Forty Deuce, but she failed to show.
On the club's website, boss Ivan Kane says, "She came on stage during rehearsals, looking very hot, with four back-up dancers and sang three songs. They ran through the set several times, the choreography was smokin', and she sounded great."
Spears got cold feet because she decided she needed more time to rehearse for her much anticipated comeback performance. Some semi-secret shows are lined up for Los Angeles next week. We will see if she shows up for those.
