What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend in Kentwood, turned out to be a nightmare when
Britney Spears had to rush her 2-year old son
Jayden James to the hospital due to a seizure.
According to the
UK Sun, Jayden suffered an "expected seizure" on Sunday, and the family rushed him over to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre, which is about 25 miles from the Spears residence.
A source told the publication,
“He was vague and unresponsive so Britney dialed an ambulance. But she was told it would take half an hour to arrive, and she was best trying to get Jayden to the hospital herself.”
Since doctors were unable to pinpoint the problem, little Jayden was kept overnight for more observation. Mama Britney spent the night next to Jayden in his hospital room, and Daddy K-Fed is making arrangements to get to Mississippi as we speak. We'll keep you guys updated on this as soon as we get more info, but in the meanwhile, we wish little Jayden a speedy recovery.
UPDATE: According to sources close to the Britney camp, her son Jayden was actually rushed to the hospital due to an allergic reaction, reports
People magazine.
He was hospital after suffering "a terrible allergic reaction. He had hives, was itchy and irritable," according to the source. Jayden is reportedly doing "just fine" now, which is great news!
