Britney's Peeps Pissed At Legal Fees

Well, someone has decided to wake up! Britney Spears conservators are reportedly really pissed at the legal fees Britney has been asked to pay for her custody battle with Kevin Federline.

Apparently, Brit's peeps will go do court on Monday to fight for the lawyers fees which are ridiculously high. The conservators are gonna try to convince the judge that this is a simple custody case and these inflated fees are not necessary.

Mark Vincent Kaplan has asked Brit-Brit to pay his lawyers fees which have totalled up to $500,000 within a 5-month period.

This case is anything but simple! It could have been simple if Britney's life didn't get all sorts of complicated. We've seen it all from Britney this past year.

One thing that many of you seem to be overlooking is the fact that it is _normal_ in civil cases that the loser pays the legal fees of the winner. This happens all the time. Britney lost that case against K-Fed (i.e., she was the plaintiff), and part of the court decision concerning that (months ago) was that she is responsible for his legal costs. Those of you who say she shouldn't pay are totally ignorant about how the case played out and about how the legal system works in this country. Another issue concerns the fees of Trope and Trope, _Britney's_ attorneys. She refused to cooperate with them, jerked them around, left them hanging in court without showing up herself, and basically used them like playthings while she treated her court cases like some sort of childish game and acted like an immature, spoiled little baby. Only a blithering fool would think that Trope and Trope wouldn't demand to be paid for being put through all of this idiotic nonsense. Now, the chickens are coming home to roost, and it's time for Britney to try to approximate the behavior of a responsible adult and pay for the consequences of her own mindless, selfish, solipsistic antics.

Isn't it amazing how they're making her pay >$1 million for them to take her children away? If I were in her shoes, and they won't allow me custody to my children anyway... I would say... bye bye. Go get healthier... and come back to fight when I am well. It seems as if no one is competent enough to feed themselves... everyone is feeding off ONE woman!! Unbelievable!! And these are all GROWN men preying on a sick much younger woman... ill-legal system. But then again, I hear the judges in California is a bunch of crazy ones any way. Frustrated for her!!

Trope and Trope was charging her $600,000. for barely doing anything. Kaplan's fees are high, but he is a high end lawyer and working with celebrities, they do command a higher price.Britney shouldn't have had to pay that Eardley guy I don't think, but because she supposedly talked to him that's why she had to pay. Crazy.Still, her money should not be drained by constant court costs.

I think that maybe they will be reduced, but she will still have to pay a pretty penny. It's ridiculious that she turn those courts into a circus. No average person would ever get away with that they would be held in contempt.

i'm happy brit is geting better, and yes she was on the crazy train for quite sometime but this is uncalled for. i doubt she'll even have to pay these fees - it's been painfully obvious from the beginning that Trope & Trope was just sticking it out to gouge her for as much dough as they could. disgusting.

seriously come on now its not like shes going on trial for murder. And kfed at least needs to pay a portion of it! Its not like hes homeless sell that dam truck if he cant afford it. I No brit brought it upon herself but i think there just again one example shes being taking advantage of by her money. Sad.
