Britney's Mother Speaks - Britney Spears

Britney Spears’ mother, Lynne, has reportedly told Life & Style magazine that she is taking full responsibility for the trainwreck that is her daughter.

“For everything that’s gone wrong for Britney, I blame myself,” Lynne Spears said in the magazines latest issue. “I didn’t raise my children to have Hollywood careers. This all just exploded in my face, and big dreams became big headaches.”

As for the pair’s relationship, she said “We’ve reunited,” Lynne says. “We’re friends.”

Hey baby steps are better than no steps. She should lock her daughter in the house and help her find Jesus--or a therapist.

ok for one " another problem is her saying they are "friends" instead of saying we are "family-mother and daughter" first and foremost. You are a parent at all times. It is okay to be very close to your child, but you guys are never "friends". I hate that concept. i think that all the media just needs to leave the celebrities be they are just people i mean how would you feel if they someone was always running up to you and flashing cameras in your face and making up stories to make money if you don't know the facts you shouldn't print it

I feel compassion with the family of Britney, both mother and dougter. I can see high ideals and maybee "churchrules" not rooted in the heart of everybody of her familymembers. When it commes to communicate love, dogmatics wispers insufficiency...sss, like a snake. Iside us, holy bloodchains demands holyness, otherwise it aches so badly. Using drugs is a way to escape such ache. Maybe a star will catch the moon? Is Mammon able to give us another heaven, than the one that surrounds us? Nobody like to be replaced by anything or anyone, especially not "me" as a bloodrelative! And love is not similiar with a sexicon, it´s more a secure and fndamental relation between You, God and the blood in You and your family. The fruit of not to show our blood respect is so tragic. And a virgins first blood is not for sale, if Britney as a human, don´t want to feed and play with vampires, or to cry, cry, cry in her lonely heart,thinking... I will pray for her, that she will find the center of life in our loving God, the Father of life, and security in her own childhood, and in the childhood of God´s son Jesus, to joice a generous picefull herritage of the Father when she´s hiding in him.

well lets be honest.. u can't raise ur kids for fame.. u just raise them the best u know how and help them face things as they grow older... as their mother or father.. not just a friend!! and maybe she does need God or some faith in her life.. she seems so hopeless...

Someone else taking the blame for what someone else does. The bitch needs to understand it's her fault, she is a massive train wreck happening, not waiting to happen. She keeps running over peoples feet, hitting cars and leaving. I understand she is swarmed by paps, but she wants that attention, she begs for it, she makes sure she gets it, and instead of looking like "OMG IM TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE SO FAST I RUN OVER THEM" When the truth is, you call them to let them know where you will be so sit there, pick your nose or something else to make them happy (Just wear panties god please wear those) don't turn the car on till you give them everything they want and you get all the attention, your attention whore self needs. Your mom is also at fault. Instead of banking on her kids money, and being "Friends" she should have been a mother first, a trustworthy friend far second, and a money hungery whore 3rd but on that one she should have went and stripped or something where you need no real talent and get paid alot instead of living the life off your kids paychecks. As always I agree with what most of you have said, just wanted to give my little piece to lol. HAGD

La Chat you're right. No one can save Britney but Britney. She is gonna be 26 next month. The girl is GROWN. And her mom can't make her do anything. But stop the ass kissing and tell it to her straight. I can see her mom having some regrets when she was a kid. But as an adult, Britney made her own decisions against the advice of those who loved her. And with everybody, when you make bad decisions they can come back and bite you in the ass. I hope she keeps her mom in her life, but mama can't fix it, only she can.

At this point I think that's all Lynn could get out of Britney is to be a friend, and it's better to be a friend then to not be able to be anything to her daughter at all, because as a friends she could still advice Brit without getting grief. Britney is not looking for guidance right now. Even though she needs guidance desperately. I think this is one of those things people can't understand right now. Like Julia Roberts is trying to do the guidance thing. See that shit just not going to work. Brit needs to find her own way at this point and I think Lynn finally sees that.
