Britney's Fake Perfume Ad

If you thought Mariah Carey's perfume ad-looked photoshopped, get a hold of Britney Spears' latest fragrance, Believe.

A representative for Elizabeth Arden said, “The only person in the national print ad for Britney’s Believe fragrance is Britney Spears."

So what is this perfume gonna smell like? Oil, French-fries, vomit. Ok, I went a little overboard but in reality her new scent is supposed to be " a reflection of her soul. As she shares her beliefs, we reflect on our own.”

Are they kidding with this ad? Britney hasn't looked like that since 2000. This is just ridiculous. I feel like these people over at Elizabeth Arden are mocking us!

jenn- im sorry, but i have to disagree. her first perfume actually smells really good. and its one of the best sellers. and it isnt that cheap either. around 43 dollars for a small bottle. anyways..i miss the old britney..the britney that looked like that.

The last thing I'd want to wear is any scent endorsed by Britney Spears! It probably has a high alcohol and musk content, like its endorser. Anyone would be embarrassed to say they were wearing it, if anyone asked what fragrance it was. Bet it'll be on the bargain rack next to Jean Nate anytime now.

Why does everyone always wish for the old Britney back? Don't you understand that she was a pawn for the music industry? They told her what to wear, what to say and where to go. That person was never the real Britney and we will never see that person again because the cherry is popped, we already know she's a white trash cuntry hooker. Her image is never going back to the sweet, innocent, cute little girl from 1999. Get over it. The only thing that could save her now is moving to Canada or Europe to some tiny little town where nobody knows who she is. uhh cp...i think any britney fan would know that she's "not that innocent"..i agree with LALA on #2..britney's old body was FAR FAR more in shape and toned than this one..i really do hope that someone steps up to britney and let her see what she is doing to herself..and get her the help she needs. i think she has a personality disorder. maybe borderline disorder! it usually happens in adolesence or young adult phase..and personality disorders are soo hard to fix, because usually the person with it is in denial..

wish her hair looked like that all the time - her hair (wigs) always looks a mess. It kinda doesnt look like her, more like her sister or something, dunno something is weird about it - like how young she looks or something. Did anyone see the "Coleen" perfume launch - how she had to wear the same things as in her advert - it was soo obvious that they had done loads of photoshop work on her ad. (for americans on this site coleen is with the footballer Wayne Rooney, I can't remember her surname) Anyways back to britney... I LOVE her "fantasy" perfume and just recently smelled the "midnight fantasy" and that was really nice too.

I don't even believe that Britney's head in this picture came from a recent photo shoot either. Look at the hair: you can see the part from her hairline and dark roots. It doesn't look like any of the wigs she's worn. I think it's her real hair. So I agree with the perfume company: this is all Britney... circa three years ago.

The number one give away that this is not Britt are the hands!! Have you seen her hands? They are short and nubby and she bites her fingernails past the quick. Completely photoshopped. One more reason not to "believe."

I have always liked Britney Spears, and I dont think this photo looks bad at all, she actually looks healthy, and i wish she would go back to that now, because people care about her still and she doesnt need to be acting this way.

this looks like britney right after her first record came out--pre-rhinoplasty. she looks pretty uncomfortable, or at least, not as comfortable as she has in more recent photo shoots. perhaps they photoshopped the bird into a shot from the late 90s? (if birds equate with 'believing' or whatever..), or maybe it's 100% old? (even the birdie, haha.) coz the EA chick said that no one but brit is IN the advert.. but she didn't say when it was taken! not that it matters, really. nothing is real anymore, so does it matter WHEN it was taken, or even if it's her? it's her name, not her face that's the selling point here. (vive la originality, or whatever. hah.)

If you look in some of her pictures.. even her old ones you can see.. that when shes not wearing fake nails.. her real nails are bit down to stumps.. You can see anytime theres a picture of her.. especially now that shes not caring what she looks like.. The hands in that picture I think.. have perfect never been chewed on nails.. I used to bite mine.. because of stress and although they are long now.. they will never look the same as someone whos never bitten theirs..

geez what's the difference.... how do we know if anything is real nowadays... if it sells the perfume, and the perfume smells good (which is what a lot of people are saying) then who cares??? i definitely don't care for britney right now or what she is doing with her personal life, but if she is selling the perfume, then good for her... why do we have to knock everything she does?? who cares if she is fat or skinny?? it shouldn't bother anyone... if you like the perfume, buy it. if you don't like it, don't buy it. that's it.

I think it is so sad that everyone slags off Britney. The only reason everyone hates her so much is because they are all jealous of what she has and that she is famous. Most of the people that slag her off are really just resentful that they are not the famous ones. Seriously, who wouldn't have a few nights out with Paris Hilton after breaking up with someone if they could? Oh and calling her white trash etc just shows how ignorant you are, you should be celebrating that someone from her background has been successful, not trying to put them down.
