Britney's Dad Granted Change in Conservatorship

Lawyers for Britney Spears and her father Jamie met in court today behind closed doors for an emergency hearing.

To make a long story short, Britney's Dad was granted a change in the rules concerning his decision-making power over her medical, financial, and legal matters.

Neither Britney nor Jamie were actually in court, his attorney Vivian Lee and Jeryll Cohen, were arguing for him, while Samuel Ingham, a court-appointed counsel, represented Britney.

"Everything about this matter is sealed," says the court rep.

They're keeping the details of the hearing very hush hush, so we'll get you guys more juice as soon as we hear something.

So far, I am relieved that no new photos of Britney and her paps have surfaced.Hopefully her dad has enough control to keep her from doing more stupid things and keeping Adnan away as well.

The game plan should be to have Sam charged with abuse of the mentally ill and medicating a person without their consent. Next find the link between Sam and K-Fed because K-Fed certainly set this whole thing up. Sam arrived at Brit's life October 2007 just as the custody battle was heating up and Kaplan was telling K-Fed that his chances of holding any custody were slim to none unless he could prove Brit to be unfit.......and Sam went to work....cutting phone lines and hiding phone chargers....now we know why Brit was missing some of the random drug test calls........hiding her dog and then finding it after she walks around looking and crying for the dog.....alerting the paparazzi as to her every move......and generally making her appear to intentionally violate court orders....He was also telling her she needs to get back with K-fed which I think is because Kaplan has informed K-fed that as soon as she convinces the court that she is fine..she will get full custody and he will get no child support. Her Dad needs to hire new lawyers (perhaps Wasser) and have the lawyer inform the court that Brit will pay all expense for a house designated as the children's house with the parents going in and out with their visitation schedule. Brit pays all house and child expense and K-Fed gets no child support pay. He is most likely going to jail anyway when they find the link between Sam and him.

Throughout this whole episode of Britney's mental problems, I think K-Fed has been nothing but a good father. He's provided them with the much needed protection from her, keeping grandparents involved. And if the shoe was on the other foot, K-Fed would've had to pay through the nose. Britney herself has brought this recent trash into her life including Sam and Adnan. Her parents have never given up on her, and continue to try, but it's tough when she's a determined adult with a twisted mind. I have yet to see K-Fed do the bone headed crap she's pulling. Yeah he's pretty much a loser, but he's sure stepped up to the plate as a parent.

People need to quit posting things about her, stop buying and reading the dumb magazines that are out there so people will STOP making money off her, and she can maybe find some peace and quiet for a while. I love Britney and i have for a long time, but its not just her fault she's become like this, we made this "Pop Icon" and we're destroying her! Its sick! Hollyscoop is included, your comments about her hitting up local gas stations and starbucks is just stupid stupid stupid cheapshots. If you support her and want her better then don't say dumb shit, and post facts only. Or don't post anything at all better yet!

I agree Tasha. Action speak louder then words and her actions again are saying that she will do what she wants, with who she wants and to not bother interfearing in her life because it's her life. Mean while her words were "Daddy come and get me out of here. I want to leave, but I can't".
