Britney's Bodyguard Tells All Part II

In case you missed all the drama this weekend, Britney Spears' bodyguard Tony Barretto has literally been on a rampage talking to every tabloid and press outlet about the troubled superstar.

Yesterday Baretto told News of the World that Britney almost overdosed and how he thought she was going to die and this morning he talked to UK's Daily Mail about his concerns for his two kids. Guess the UK press pays more for Britney stories than the US huh?

The singer's former bodyguard claims he was warned by his predecessor not to let Spears or her young sons Sean Preston and Jayden James out of his sight especially when Spears was in the swimming pool.

Barretto says, "(I was warned), 'Don't let her go swimming with them'. "Shocked, I asked, 'Is she going to drown them?' He said, 'I don't know.' I started to cry. How am I supposed to protect someone like that? "She's unpredictable. No one knows what she'll do next."

It's no surprise that Spears needs to get help but I highly doubt she would ever intentionally hurt her children. I have a feeling this guys 15 minutes aren't over yet--I wonder who he'll talk to tomorrow?

This is sad, but I do believe Britney might hurt herself and her children. In her state of mind she could see it as getting back at Kevin.I think he is telling the truth...no one on the Spears side is refuting any of it and it's what he told the judge as well in his statement.She needs help and the judge really should have taken the kids away,even he himself admitted she was a habitual user of drugs and alcohol. Her life is an absolute disaster at this point. I'm always afraid I'll hear something tragic has happened to her or her little ones. This can't go on forever...it will have to end sometime.

Well, I think he's telling the truth and for once even friends, family and business partners are backing away and praying that she gets the help she needs. Even they are afraid of the addicted monster she's become. Bravo to Mr. Tony Barretto to tell what he saw and remind us he was to protect and serve the children as well as Britney, by contract; as well as to inform the law and judge and public of this awful situation.

Can'tStandCattyBitches...I have to disagree with your comment. First of all you said "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." Anyone that is going down a path to hell does not have good intentions to begin with. So right their wrong. You then go on to say "No one attends to hurt their children" and I think some people out their are mean and cruel and do attend to hurt their kids. It's a rear few, but their are some.

I don't think he's lying or making this stuff up at least not all of it. I think that it's very possible that she is on drugs and that she could put many people in danger. You can't help someone that refuses to realize that something is wrong with them. If Brit does not want help, and thinks nothing is wrong with her then how is anyone to get through to her so she could see who she has become?

Anyone remember Andrea Yates. I'm sure everyone who knew her never would have believed she would drown her children. But she was mentally ill and not getting proper treatment. Britney is mentally ill and has addiction problems on top of it and she's not getting proper treatment. That makes anything possible.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. No one "ever" intends to hurt their child, but that doesn't stop it from occuring.

I don't think Britney would intentionally hurt her kids, but I do believe she is mentally ill. And as a result, she is very unpredictable. Who know what would happen if she is feeling very depressed. I believe the guy for the very reason her lawyers did not question him on the stand. They let his declaration go into the court record unchallenged. He probably would have had more damaging things to say if he was called to the stand.
