Britney's Album Pushed Back

Everyone is waiting for the REAL comeback of Britney Spears, but it turns out that it's gotten pushed back a little more.

News has come that the release of her new album will not happen until 2008. She was really hoping the release it by the end of this year, but her publicist has put her on check.

"I put her on hiatus. Brit's album is pushed until '08'" said Leslie Sloane.

But other sources think that the big bosses at her record label are just afraid that her career is dunzo! The insider says, "I'm surprised the album wasn't pushed back to 2009. Everything's up in the air with the album right now."

What's interesting is that we were actually speaking to some "industry insiders" a few days back and they told Hollyscoop that the record is actually "amazing" and consists of a lot of "good dance mixes."

"Britney worked with an amazing producer and his work definitely reflects in the album."

I don’t think it’s the music that her people need to worry about. I’m sure it’s fine! What they need to work on his her public image. She should go into hiding until the end of the year and come back a changed woman. Not the same one that changes outfits a hundred times a day, has stains on her dresses, really bad extensions and flashes her private parts to the entire world. That’s what will save Britney!

Totally agree with Clint & Down to Earth comments. They should negotiate and give her a another chance. She did manage to create a revolution for the world to fantasize during her heydays, they should not just throw "cold water" on her right now, where she seriously need all the help and love after fighting so hard for her comeback.

It's all about business. If she can't produce a money making record she is of no use to the record label. The longer Britney stays away from her career and doesn't learn to adapt, the harder the comeback will be, if it ever comes back period.If she wants to be back on top she needs to take ownership of her life, and move forward. She needs to pay attention to singers like Christina...who are adapting in subtle ways.I was hoping she would have gotten herself together somewhat, but all of these ridiculous photo ops and valley girl jokes tell me she is a long way off from that big comeback.

i agree that britney is a TOTAL MESS..but whatever this girl does..it turns to gold. people hate her or love her..whether she losts a couple million fans..she still have millions of fans who support her..and she will be successful in her comeback..as long as she tightens up her body, and grow out her hair..so she can dance comfortably..because people love her songs and her dance moves.

Sorry but britney is tainted and she has done it to herself. Listen, we all make mistakes and nobody is perfect but God, however a changed person or someone who actually wants to change has a reason for it. A genuine reason and britney doesn't have that within herself. She cries victim and blames everyone and their dog but her own self. All the problemS the girl has is by her own creation. And until she can truley look at herself and say OMIGOSH i really messed my life up by my actions, she will be the same trainwreck she is now. You have to feel guilt and have regrets in life to actually grow. You must take responsibility for your MISTAKES and the simple fact that she does not do that AT ALL drives me not to like her at all. She has broken up SO many homes and acts as though shes innocent. IT drives me crazy (pardon the pun)! Her record will not sell good at all, her concerts will not be sold out anymore and she will always be someone whos extremely tainted. Maybe she never should of became a homewrecker because karma is a son of a *bleep* and karma sure has come her way. I dont feel one bit bad for her at all. She actually thinks that her "fans" will go back to loving her. Well hate to tell you this (no i dont) but your fans (im an x fan) USED to love you for more then your dancing and music, we loved looking at how beautiful you were and we loved your innocent persona. It was interesting for us. Yeah, well things are NOT that way anymore so good luck going platnium ever again.

She's a "recording artist" who isn't an artist at all - just a marketing vessel. If she's finally sinking into the sunset, I say good riddance to her. Her obsolescence is way overdue.

It's amazing how the mighty have fallen. This girl had the world by the ass! Now look at her. She has enough money and fame. If I were her, I would try to get my life together, because it's a huge mess!

Britney has made these poeple millions of dollars and when she decided to take a break they wanted to diss her. This is the problem everyone in Britney's life has done this even her family. No wonder the girl can not trust or beleive anyone. I personally think they should back her up no matter what after all she is supporting them.

I kinda agree about the hiatus but she's been in limbo for so long, it'd only put her further behind the 8 ball for a successful comeback if she did go again (would anyone care if Jack-O came out w/a new album right now?). I think she can change her image gradually and successfully as kind of a build up to the album release and still make it great through promotional opps. The problem, as I see it, is the record company doesn't seem to want to promote her or support her in the endeavor. If they approached her w/the financial etc. benefits of an image change she would likely go along w/it. Right now, too many people are just saying "Do this" because "I say so." That's not going to work w/her since she's so headstrong of late.
