Britney's 20-Minute Performance

Britney Spears' much anticipated perfomance did in fact take place tonight in San Diego. Spears went on stage at 10pm for only 20 minutes before she quickly exited out of the building. The concert was titled the "M & M's" which stands for Mother and Miss. The miss symbolizes Britney's freedom from marriage.

The pop princess hit the stage sporting her brunette wig, short sparkling top, short skirt and knee high boots. Britney reportedly lip synched to the following songs with four blonde female back up dancers:

Baby One More Time
Toxic
Breathe On Me
I'm A Slave For You
Do Something

Hollyscoop readers revealed to us that Britney looked great but didn't really sing during her short performance. Britney also upset the crowd by not addressing them in any way or even greating her loyal fans. She did say "Thanks everyone for coming" after her 15 minutes was over.

Britney has also added a few more strings to her M& M's tour. She will be performing on May 2nd in Anaheim, as well as the House of Blues on Sunset Strip on May 3rd.

thats really sad that she is performing her old songs.she reminds me of "backstreet boy" reunited concert when they come back after not doing anything for a long, long time and do the same songs all for the sake of trying to reignite that old flame that once made them famous. Shall we direct our attention to the obvious? Britney Spears is neither adequate or acceptable as a mother. It has to do with three very simple observations; (1) she has used and continues to use her children to garner press attention for her own selfish motives. (2) She evidently cannot control herself and makes no attempt spend time with her children despite the fact that her finances enable her to be a fulltime Mom for the next ten years and STILL be one of the wealthiest women in the world. (3) Most importantly; her track record speaks for itself. She has horrible judgment and is not FIT to mother those children. Whether or not she loves them is not the point. She is a DANGER to them. Social Services really needs to step in and protect those children. Oh and did I mention? She is a has-been. Its a shame she is sacrificing a rewarding relationship with her children in a pathetic attempt to reclaim her lost 15 minutes of fame. Oh and to the blogger with the adult 23 year old successful child? I commend you for raising your child but that was 23 years ago and today it is a whole different ballgame.

Loo Loo just go sit in your corner and watch your child 24/7. You have issues and it shows by your lack of knowledge. My child does not have any issues and I am very proud of the person she has become with my help. Also let’s see the issues your child will have do to lack of individuality, your children need to learn life without your persistent interference. No I don’t judge my child’s success by the amount of money she makes but hay with out knowledge and good parenting she would have never made it, and guess what I was not there 24/7. There are many books about this subject why don’t you try reading one instead of thinking you already know everything. It has been proven that children who are not individualized from there parents grow up and live at home until they are 40 years old. So when your child is 40 living at home and working at McDonald’s because they do not know how to function in society it will be on you. Education does wonder for the soul immaturity only makes you a nuisance in our society.

Are you serious? do you understand that once the kids are OUT of the womb, a mother's job has only just begun?! she's no martyr because she "took 3 years off" real moms don't get days off, sick days, or "sorry mommy lost her shit and had to go to rehab" days. there is NO subsitute for a mother, and ultimately those kids will feel the pain because of all the time they've lost with their mother because she was at a dance studio, or in rehab, or making a comeback, or shopping for a new dress, i really could go on... and yes i base all my info on tabloids - because the fact is that EVERYDAY SHE'S N THEM WITHOUT HER CHILDREN BY HER SIDE.

looloo, you do have valid points. I am also a blue collar worker. And honestly, if I had the kind of cash Britney did, I'd think twice about working. But quite honestly, I'd love to have B's schedule. I honestly don't see where she has been sacrificing the needs of her kids (minus the whole rehab thing, which is another story). She took 3 years off to get married and have kids. She's getting back into work, which includes doing promotional work, going to dance studios, some small tours at venues (all occuring at night.) I mean, she's even taking her kids to freaking dance classes? I'm just not sure I see how her JOB is taking away from her kids? Not to mention the fact that all of your information is coming from tabloids, and pictures (which probably make up an hour of her day.) I just don't see how her recent career work has taken away from her kids. If you want to discuss rehab/drinking/etc... there is no excuse, only the explanation that she messed up. Honestly, I feel for her...she's a great example of what happens to a person when they don't have a childhood. I hope that she can find some peace witht hat, and get the career she wants, make decisions for her self, etc....all the while raising great kids and being the best she can. The funny part is I don't really care for her all that much. I just think she took a really bad rap, and everyone should cut her a break. She messed up, and she is reprioritizing her life.

Down to Earth, let me say that I was wrong to assume that you may be the same as Umm...Umm just has some serious issues. But it is good that you raised a grown child, but Britney has MORE than enough time away from her kids-she was away from them months while partying, attempted rehabbing, and re-promoting herself post rehab. So when does she going to take a break and be with her sons-the youngest is only 7 mths or so and out of his 7 mths she was with him 2 or 3 of them....

Loo loo, lets get this straight. You're opinions of women with children working come with a set of conditions. If the woman has money (assuming from inheritance, prior successes before children, a rich husband) then they should NOT work, and stay at home and raise their children. But, if they need the money, then its okay for a mother to work, and leave her children at home, or with a day care worker, family member, nanny, etc....? While you may feel like you HAVE to work to put food on the table, you working still has the same consequences to your children as it would to Britney's. I see what you mean about how some women out there may not have their priorities aligned. I do hope that someday I won't have to work when I have children. To me, the best way you can give back is by raising children, its the best job out there. At the same time, if I decide to take a job when I have kids, then I think its my right. And that certainly wouldn't make you a better mother than me.
