Britney Voted Most Over Exposed Celebrity

Through the ups and downs, Britney Spears was voted the most over exposed celebrity of 2008 (again) by USA Today.

Their "Celebrity Heat Index" measures exposure in print and online entertainment news outlets. Spears took the number 1 spot in 07 as well, but she was definitely more exposed this year. Who could forget her being strapped to a gurney and being taken away to a psych ward?

Angelina Jolie came in at number 2 with partner Brad Pitt taking in the number 4 spot. Ex wifey Jennifer Aniston came in at number 3.

Hottest breakthroughs:
In 2008, 298 stars joined the list including Twilight's Rob Pattinson, Gossip Girl's Blake Lively, political figures such as Barack Obama, and celebrity offspring including Harlow Madden and Zuma Rossdale.

Hottest breakup:
The divorce of Madonna and director Guy Ritchie was the top breakup story. The Aniston/John Mayer breakup came in second.

Reader favorites:
No surprise here, Reese Witherspoon was voted the reader favorite. Fans wanted 53% "more coverage" of her, while Patrick Swayze, who revealed in March that he was battling pancreatic cancer, came in second.

Hottest mom:
Taking the top spot was Jamie Lynn Spears. Her controversial pregnancy kept her in the news for 19 weeks. Jolie's arrival of twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline in July only got 17 weeks of coverage. Poor Brangelina, someone stole their thunder. Time for triplets!

I Just wish people would leave her alone ! We don't own her, The paps are hard enough to deal with at the best of times, but when you are suffering personal problems you do not need others sticking their oar in, and certainly not the press and media ! Lots of Love Britney.

Leave Britney alone already geez..don't you people have anything better to do with you're time then to sit here and put her down constantly don't you have anything nice to say about her. The ones that are too over exposed and are seen to much everywhere and Iam getting really sick of it...is fuckin Miley Cyrus and The Jonas Brothers there everywhere and personally I see nothing great about neither, both there music sucks, and there music is something you would listen to if you're like 12 years old. But that's just my personal opinion though.

I do not really care for the way Britt dresses. Hopefully, as she grows older, she will learn to dress more modestly, especially now that she is a Mother of 2.

It's true I don't know any celeb that can make such havoc by entering a rite aid, No celeb will ever be able to create such a wave of crazy by shaving there head and beating the crap out of there ex's car, and I don't care what she says the bitch was without a doubt on something. Let's face it people when you see a train wreck as bad as that it's a once in a lifetime experience you can't look away from that.

I feel bad for Britney. Most of her exposure was not good. I'm glad her new exposure is good! GOD! I hope Miley doesn't take her place.
