Britney Spears is officially under her fathers care for the rest of her life. Goodbye freedom!
A judge in the Spears conservatorship case granted her father Jamie permanent conservatorship. The conservatorship was scheduled to end on December 31.
Apparently the family law commissioner said he would feel more comfortable granting her more time with her kids if there was a safety net aka: her father.
Jamie will also be responsible for handling her business affairs and career opportunities, reports
TMZ.
The commish said,
"The conservatorship is necessary and appropriate for the complexity of financial and business entities and her being susceptible to undue influence."
Considering the circumstances, it's a good thing her father was awarded permanent conservatorship because she didn't handle her freedom all that well. She needs some kind of control in her life, and her father helps keep her grounded. What do you guys think?
