Britney Unable Take Care of Herself Permanently

Britney Spears has officially lost control of all aspects of her personal and professional life. She can not make any sort of big decision without consulting with her father as he was officially named Britney's permanent conservator.

According to Access Hollywood, the court papers were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, which made the judge's October ruling official. No going back now!

Her father Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallet have permanent control of Brit-Brit's finances. An attorney names Wallet? Let's hope he's not out there only to fill his wallet with all of Brit's money.

In the papers regarding her finances, it states that Britney “is substantially unable to manage … her financial resources or to resist fraud or undue influence.”

As for herself it says that she “is unable properly to provide for his or her personal needs for physical health, food, clothing, or shelter.”

Jamie was also named sole conservator over Britney’s personal matters. Jamie Spears permanently has “the power to restrict and limit visitors by any means.”

So does this mean she can't marry any douchebag out there anymore? Chances are this time around Jamie will stop it because he can! Do guys think this is good for her or will she eventually just lose it because she has no control of her own life?

It's about time Britney's Dad steps in and helps her out obviously her Mom being in the picture wasn't doing her any good maybe her Dad being in the picture for a little bit and helping her get back on her feet and getting her sons back will help..so what if Britney has made mistakes everyone makes them you just don't hear about them but because it's "Britney Spears" it' posted everyone and it's this huge or deal HELLO people wake up Britney's human too she's bond to make mistakes has well she's not perfect just because she's a celebrity. I personally still love Britney and I still support her 100% yeah she's going through a rough time right now but aren't we all? I believe Britney will make it through this. I also think that people hating on Britney just because she's having a hard time right now is soo wrong..you know at least she's grown up enough to admit she has a problem and is trying to get help for it unlike some people who don't think they have any problems and don't do shit for it. I really hope Britney does get her boys back! You people just need to leave her alone.

It appears that whatever her father is doing is a good thing. Yes she is 27 and should be able to take care of herself but if she does suffer from a mental illness, she might veer off of the path and become unstable again. It takes a lot of TLC from family to help a sufferer keep upright. I would imagine that in her more lucid times she recognises that her dad is doing the best that he can for her. I hope that she is grateful because her return to wellness is beautiful.

Britney is probably bi-polar with a multiple diagnosis. Alot of people with her problems become wards of the state permanently because they can't make the right decisions due to the illness. She's lucky her father has stepped up as concervator rather then have the state have to award a state concervator. To those who would say we don't know if she is bi-polar or has a mental disorder they wouldn't have put her under a conservatorship without the doctors saying she has a problem. This is a good thing for Britney although she acts like a 12 year old most of the time and will probably balk at it.

the problem is that britney like bum guys. i mean look at kevin federline. and the guy she is gonna fall in love with again is probably gonna be a bum and she's her dad is gonna disapprove and she's gonna lose it. i hope it doesnt happen but all signs are leading to that

I think her father should have step in years ago,Fathers have to play a vital her in a girls life..her mess really screwed her over. I'm happy her dad is doing the right thing, if she gets married he should have limited say and do a completed background check on whoever she dates!!!! Go brit.. I'm really rooting for her.

Wow - that is tough! Because of her past actions, it would seem the best thing to prevent her from going off the deep end again. But on the other hand, if she continues to better herself and can prove she has gained control of herself and life, why shouldn't she be able to live her life without her dad's approval? And if she does marry again, does this court ruling still remain intact? I can't imagine wanting to be married to someone who has to ask their dad to make decisions.
