Britney Spears has reportedly turned down $3 million for a book deal.
Random House, Harper Collins and Little Brown have all made multi-million dollar offers to her, and she’s turned them all down.
Before Brit got on the road for her Circus tour, she held meetings to entertain the idea of writing an autobiography, but apparently their offers were a little too low for her liking.
According to insiders, Britney is thinking more along the lines of $8 million. A source tells Us Weekly, "She was hoping for much more money."
When you’re Britney Spears, we guess you can name ridiculous prices like that for your autobiography. It’s not like she has anything to lose or gain by writing it.
Her whole life has already been spewed all over every tabloid, so what more is there to know?
We wonder if the publishing houses are hurting bad enough to accept her high price? One thing’s for sure, a Britney tell-all will sell copies. So maybe $8 million isn’t too much to ask!
