Britney To Join Cyndi Lauper On Tour

Britney Spears’ album might be on hold until 2008, but that isn't stopping her from hitting the stage. Two months ago she went on a “mini comeback tour” across America and now she is at it again.

On June 30 at L.A.'s Greek Theatre, she will join Cyndi Lauper, Erasure, Debbie Harry, The Dresden Dolls, The MisShapes with special guest Jeffree Star and host Margaret Cho live onstage for the "True Colors" concert tour.

haha i was thinking the same thing as sammy..but i still dont consider britney a has been. if her new album tanks..then she probably is a has been..but i highly doubt it.

Cyndi Lauper probably figures it will help to sell the place out by letting Britney come sing a song with her.

I think it's great. Debbie Harry was the queen of pop in the 70's, and Cyndi Lauper was the queen of pop in the 80's, and Britney was the queen of pop in the 90's, or maybe even today, and they're all together on the same stage with several thousand queens in the audience plus Rosie O'Donnell, and Margaret Cho. Well, that's a party I don't want to miss. I wouldn't be surprised if Paris Hilton shows up. She's finally getting out of jail this week.

Firs of all, it's only a rumor and second, the show was pretty much sold out waaaay before this Britney nonsense hit the blogs. You may think of them as has beens, but I thought it was a really great show.
