Britney To Be Released Tonight?

Britney Spears might be released tonight after her 72-hour hold is up. Apparently, security is beefing up at the hospital prepping for her release.

Her docs are gonna do a final evaluation for her today before they give their recommendation to the Commissioner before he makes his decision.

Sadly, from what I'm hearing I don't think we should expect her leaving the hospital a brand new woman. I actually think situations might be worse now because of her family situation.

Sam Lutfi is definitely taking his Howard K. Stern role really far bashing Britney's family to the press. He went as far as calling them hillbillies. Sam is not a good person and close friends of Lutfi tell us that his actions really don't surprise them because his is the king of con artists.

They've GOT to keep that woman locked up. She will kill herself or somebody else this time - nothing has been cleared up at all. If I were the docs there, I would be quite concerned about legal repurcussions if they let her out now. She is obviously not ready and wasn't last time.

hailey, you are right. she's barely been in the hospital 3 days. she needs proper treatment. two and a half days is too quick. I guess they want her to die at her own hands and or killing another person.

Oh Lawd no. I hope they don't release her, she's not even close to being sane.

Tmz is reporting she will get an additional 14 days. Letting her go now would be signing the girl's death warrant.

most people weren't holding their breath either Some Guy. Chris, hopefully 14 days will help. that's a full two weeks to evaluate her, monitor the things she says and does, comparing them to other mental illnesses, and look into what is the best medicine for her. I don't think she is bipolar. I think it's something worst than that and if they keep giving her the wrong medicine (meds for ADD or Prosac for depression alone) she is not going to improve. get it right this time or she is going to come out and do the same stuff again.
