Britney Target In Child Abuse Case

Let's just say it's been a bad year for Britney Spears. Spears is under fire once again as she is being investigated for possible child abuse.

A hearing was held today at L.A. County Superior Court because the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is conducting an active investigation.

According to TMZ, Britney's lawyer, Dennis Wasser, K-Fed's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan and a lawyer from the Los Angeles County Counsel who is assigned to the dependency court were all present at the hearing.

A second hearing in the custody case has been scheduled for September 4, which will be a follow up to today's appearance.

Let's hope Britney doesn't have any more 'incidents' until then. Who do you guys think should get custody? Britney or K-Fed?

all i know is the way britney acts is not good for the kids. they should grow up with the dad just because he shows them a more stable lifestyle. unless she moves away with the kids i dont think she shoudl have those kdis

Right now, Kfed is the more stable parent. All Brit wants to do is party and sleep with every man she can find. If Kfed was out doing that (like how he was when she was pregnant) trust me, the paps would be plastering it all over the sites. Sorry Brit has a problem with drugs and alcohol and she doesn't want to get help for it. She also has mental issues in which drugs/alcohol isn't helping.

i agree with all of you! love him or hate him K.Fed is definitely still acting like the better parent who has the kids interest in mind. Britney on the other hand has her own interest and her stupid comeback in mind
