Britney Spears to Appear in Court

Britney Spears will be in court today to meet with a court commissioner to see how her conservatorship is doing. Sources tell TMZ Britney is scheduled to show up to court at 1:30 today to meet with the commissioner.

Her father Jamie Spears, who is the head of her conservatorship, and her lawyer are scheduled to appear with her. We know Britney hasn’t been very happy about not having any control over her own life, but we hear this meeting will not be about the conservatorship ending.

However, the topic of ending the conservatorship has been discussed with the commissioner in the past. It's not unusual for a commissioner to call the subject of the conservatorship into court for a check-up.
