Britney Spears Pulls A TomKat?

Like we reported yesterday, there is a lot of mystery surrounding Britney Spears’ second baby. Although it was widely reported on September 12 that the pop princess had a baby boy which she named Sutton Pierce, this may all be bogus.

Britney never confirmed reports that she had a son and named it Sutton Pierce Spears Federline and that 'boy' may be actually be a girl. One insider insists the baby’s name is not Sutton but Jayden James (J.J. for short).

According to MSNBC the rumors gained traction when Federline appeared on a radio show and refused to answer questions about the baby’s name or gender. “Isn’t that strange when you hear that, when you have a child and people tell you the sex is a different one,” the DJ asked Federline. He replied: “Yeah it’s crazy. Well it’s even crazier when people are telling me my child’s name.”

The buzz about the baby’s sex grew louder after a report that Spears was photographed buying pink baby clothes at Planet Blue in Malibu, however her bodyguard confiscated the film. At this moment there are no confirmations from Britney’s rep.

Sources say Britney wants to pull a Tomkat and keep her second child’s identity a secrecy to create more buzz. We hear there pictures may be released closer to October 31st when K-Fed releases his latest CD. Talk about using your kids to help sell albums...Brit's been taking lessons from crazy Tom

Update:TMZ has obtained a copy of the birth certificate for the latest addition to the Spears/Federline family, and now it's official -- it's a boy!

The certificate, filed today at the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder's office, reveals that the boy's name is Jayden James Federline. The certificate is signed by K-Fed himself, although a close inspection reveals that the signature is more like printing. Daddy Fed inked his name on Sept. 13, one day after Jayden was born.

K-Fed has been taking chances since Jayden's birth. In fact, just last night the new daddy mixed it up with John Cena on WWE's "Monday Night RAW," getting his "revenge" on Cena with a little slap but incurring Cena's wrath. Of course, K-Fed avoided any kind of retribution as Johnny Nitro stepped in on his behalf.

There was considerable confusion surrounding the birth of Britney's second child. Originally the baby's name was reported as Sutton Pierce Federline. Recent reports also indicated the baby was a girl.
