Britney Spears Has Paid Over $2.7 In Lawyer's Fees

Britney Spears' legal troubles may be a thing of the past, but her legal fees aren't.

According to the Los Angeles Times, at least $2.7 million in attorneys' fees and costs have been paid since a judge ruled that Britney was not competent to manage her life and music empire.

And that $2.7 million was during the initial 11 months of the court-ordered conservatorship, so the number could be a lot more. An additional $1 million was spent on Britney's own attorneys.

At least 17 lawyers and firms have had a hand in Spears' personal or business matters in the last 14 months, and those lawyers don't come cheap!

"Since the initiation of the conservatorship, as a result of the concerted efforts of Mr. Spears as well as the professionals involved, all aspects of Ms. Spears' life have been stabilized and continue to improve," lawyer Geraldine Wyle wrote.

Back in 2007, Britney was making at least $737,000 a month, but was spending close to $192,000 a month just on legal fees. Guess lifestyles of the rich and famous aren't as fabulous as we thought!
